A cause, A cause Posted April 26, 2012 at 11:55 PM Posted April 26, 2012 at 11:55 PM Hi all! I am a new member here. I have been reading a lot of posts here recently. I have been a huge fan of Celine Dion since Think Twice. I have all of her english albums and can not wait for the new one. Which should have been released by now. I have been listening to Celines french albums a lot this last few months. I don't speak french and have no idea what most of the songs are about but I still think they are amazing. It has been said in the forum that her french albums have more heart and soul in them than the new english ones. This for me is soooo true. Her french of late sounds just like Celine at her peak for me. They still capture the feeling of "CELINE DION", "COLOUR OF MY LOVE", "FALLING INTO YOU" and "LETS TALK ABOUT LOVE" Her voice still seems pure and relaxed in hitting all the high notes when she sings in french and there is less of the rasp that was present on "TAKING CHANCES" and some of "ONE HEART".Also the french albums seem to flow better for me. Lately as much as I love Celine, which is ALOT!!!!!! I find her english albums are just a load of random songs all shoe horned together with no concept. I hope that her next english album is a mix of her first four or five english albums. With the same attention to detail. I hope she doesn't work with the Swedish people she has used a lot of late. I am over that sound now. I hope her new album has a more soulful sound and with more real instruments and not the sort of poppy stuff. I kinda hated "ONE HEART" and thought that "A NEW DAY" was almost perfect but too poppy. So glad I can finally post here now!!! Quote

I have to agree about her French music, but I still love her in English, too. Do I find myself listening to her more in French? Yes!
