The Nationals episode of "Glee" is being taped at Cal State Los Angeles today, and we have exclusive details from the scene, including the set lists for New Directions and Vocal Adrenaline. Warning, there are major spoilers below. Our sources, who attended the taping, revealed that the McKinley High singers will perform three songs: Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory, "Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and Meat Loaf's "Paradise By the Dashboard Light." All of the "Glee" regulars, as well as Rory (Damien McGinty), Joe (Samuel Larsen) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) perform. And we hear that Quinn (Dianna Agron) will be back on her feet dancing! Vocal Adrenaline perform two numbers: Nicki Minaj's "Starships" and The Who's "Pinball Wizards." Wade (Alex Newwell) returns to lead that squad, and he sings his performances in drag. The judges at nationals are Perez Hilton, Rex Lee and Lindsay Lohan. Perez and Rex were filmed during the awards ceremony, but Lindsay was noticeably absent. As of publishing time, they're only halfway through their shooting day, so Lindsay may be shooting her scenes later. TMZ reports that she shot most of her dialogue the other day, and that all she has to shoot today are reaction shots. As for the winner of Nationals, two different endings were shot. Taking the point that normally almost everything in Glee is promo dealings, maybe they negociated this song because Celine was supposed to promote a new single that days.. but with the throat problems and this album postponed... I don't know.. simply suggestion... They could try to hurry up a little bit al least with the first single to be that days on, because Rachel Berry (Lea Michelle) singing Celine Dion is a very good promo if she has something new... normally all the originals from Glee covers enters in charts like iTunes that weeks, and if they put something new from Celine too... It's incredible how they use so little and weak the iTunes business.. some recent success like Birdy or Christina Perri ballads are from this page meanly... I am a fan of Glee but it's Lea Michele singing the song and she has one of the best voices on the show. IACBTMN is a song that really means a lot to me. This was the song that introduced me to Celine. I had heard "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Power of Love", but it never occured to me to look the singer up. When I finally heard/saw "It's All Coming Back To Me Now"....it changed my life. It showed me who my favorite singer would be for the rest of my life. This is the song that introduced me to Celine, and I've been hooked ever since. That hasn't wavered once. The fact that this song will be on Glee is a huge deal to me. Second.... I've read posts on here saying that everyone is going to compare Celine's version to Glee, yadda yadaa...and I think there are definately SOME people who will compare, but I also think it will introduce a new generation to the song. IACBTMN was huge in the 90s, but it definately isn't one of the songs that teenagers think of when they think of Celine. They think of My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me, All By Myself, and to a lesser extent....The Power Of Love. This is a great opportunity to get teens to look up that song, and to give Celine exposure to a new generation. I personally feel this is a positive in every aspect. ETA OMFG!!!! The Edge of Glory as well? I LURVE Gaga, and that's one of my favorite songs of hers. Onyx Posted May 2, 2012 at 10:27 PM Posted May 2, 2012 at 10:27 PM It is true , maybe we wont get what we expected , but in a way is good that they are using Celine Dion Songs i mean , have you guys notice what happen when the cast of glee sang the song "We are young" from FUN , that song was recorded last year and had no Radio Playing it , but since Glee did the cover it went BOOM , every hour they play that song in the radio , maybe with this they could bring new people into Celine Dion Music . But Glee is a really popular show now this days , and they should have use Celine Dion song more often , like last episode that air On may 1 they should have use "This Time" from Taking Chances , since the main theme about that episode was Domestic Violence. I honestly don't care for Glee and them covering great songs, but the thing that is good about Glee is these artists get exposure like with Journey's Don't Stop Believin'. This is my favorite song of all time and of course Celine's version is the best, but even I admit Lea did this song some hardcore justice. Teenagers are going to here this and be like "Oh my God! I have to say it is not bad at all! What I usually don't like about Glee is that they do as if they are singing the song life, but it is always lipped and prerecorded. And second is that all the songs are heavily autotuned. So every nuance in the voice is gone, just super polished vocals! Like I will always love you in Glee. It sounds good but I can't stand the cheesy environment when it was sung and the so-called frowns or faces the other actors around her make, because the song is about something related to one of them. But autotune.. Glee loves autotune unfortunately..
