When Celine cancels a show

When Celine is forced to cancel a show that's A LOT of money Caesars Palace loses (especially from Celine's most recent cancellation).. Do you think Caesars has an insurance policy protecting them from lost wages? Or does Celine add those lost performance days on to the end of her contract? I like the behind the scenes stuff so I just wondered

She'll add performances (whenever possible)..

I'm sure they provide her some cushion time in her contract in case of emergencies (i.e. she can cancel a maximum of 10 shows a year without her salary being affected... it's kind of like getting sick days to use at your job and once you use up all your sick days, you just don't get paid for the days you don't come in after that). But in all honesty, she probably has an open door policy with Caesars. She is doing them more good than anyone or anything they've ever had so they are really at her mercy in a sense. They need her way more than she needs them.

 

I wouldn't say the casino loses money if Celine cancels but they surely are not getting money that they would have otherwise gotten if she was performing. Not everyone going to Caesars is going just to see Celine. They can easily make that money again by adding more shows...and you know Rene is notorious for adding more shows so at the end of the day everyone has more money.

I was affected by the February 22 cancellation......hauled my #ss all the way from eastern canada to see the show. I'm thinking of going back this summer. How safe a bet do you think it is Celine will play all her shows this summer??

 

Surely with a month and a half of shows cancelled already this year she will ensure she completes her run this summer...but God knows. If she cancels more this summer people will have some serious doubts about her.
