The rest that Professor Berke prescribed allowed Celine’s vocal chords to recover from their weakened state and it is expected that she'll be back to 100% within four weeks time. Celine is scheduled to start working with her vocal coach Dr. William Riley in two weeks and will begin recording songs for her new English and French albums sometime in mid-April. Celine returns to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas on Saturday, June 9th. "During this recovery period, so many fans, many of whom were inconvenienced by the cancelled shows, have posted kind words of encouragement on my website. I'm so grateful for their thoughts and their support....more than they'll ever know", said Celine. Celine’s next run of performances June 9 through August 19 will proceed as scheduled. All is well again folks, panic over for those of you that were getting seriously worried. hopefully the rest will have done her voice some actual good. She now has a couple of months to concentrate on recording before she steps back on stage again. This laryngitis may have been a blessing in disguise in the long run. I hope that in the future she won't feel so bad about cancelling now that she knows that most fans do understand that she also can get sick. Also hope they deleted that horrible messages some of the ''less understanding'' fans posted. Some of them were seriously awful. I am happy that she is feeling better. She had me a bit worried.
