We are contacting you because you were recently affected by a cancelled Celine Dion performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

 

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this cancellation may have caused and understand that this must have been a very disappointing experience for you.

 

The existing ticket policy covers the automatic refund that you may have already received or will be receiving soon (the refund takes 7-10 days to process), but unfortunately cannot reimburse other inconveniences you may have suffered associated with the customary risks of live events.

 

We do hope you plan to return to Las Vegas this summer to see Celine and would like to make your trip a little easier, with respect to booking your tickets and/or your hotel accommodations.

 

As a small gesture, we would like to extend a 15% ticket discount to any of the 36 upcoming performances of Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Saturday, June 9 through Sunday, August 19, 2012. To book your Celine tickets with this offer, select the performance of your choice and enter the unique password below in the Celine Special Offer Drop down box.

 

In addition to the ticket offer, Caesars Palace is extending a 25% discount on your stay at the property valid through December 28, 2012. For room reservations at Caesars Palace .

It is a nice gesture, despite Caesars prices being radically huge---it does not guarantee you 25% off.

Thats pretty decent of them. It makes business sense of course, but still, it's a lot more than I got when she cancelled my show. Good on them.

However, when you use the code on Caesar's website it is not 25% off. Maybe 10%.

Usually those hotel promotion codes won't be off based on the best available price, but to the rack rates, which is much higher. That's why it won't look like 25% off to the price you on the website. It depends on dates. Some dates prices are more closer to the rack rate, then it would look like 25% off.

OHHH GOD it's so sad to get an email like that!! even the refund doesn't pay on the patient's disappointment of the dream to see Celine Live at her own home the Colosseum

But the box office know how to tell it and give all the help you need, like they did with me when I placed my ticket on September 2011 to July 25, 2012 (Celine, PLEASE feel good this date!!)

I received the same mail, but it would have been nice if the discount was valid 'till march 2013.

For me it's not possible to go twice a year to Vegas (can not get another time free in this period from my boss and need to save a little money).

But I appreciate the gesture.
