Celine’s Signature Forever Captured On ‘Hollywood Graffiti Gown’

Today, designer Randy McLaughlin is showcasing the world-famous Hollywood Graffiti Gown, which contains the signature of over 350 of the most influential female stars in the world, including Celine, at the D Gallery in Lake Arrowhead, California. The gown is set to go on tour before being auctioned off and a 100% of the proceeds will be donated to benefit AIDS research. Wonder where Celine’s signature is?

 

The idea for the gown-which is emblazoned with the signatures of more than 350 female stars-was conceived in the early years of Jeran Design, the fashion design company started by Randy McLaughlin and the late Jerry Skeels in the 1980s.

 

As McLaughlin and Skeels designed glamorous gowns for some of the great women of Hollywood, they gathered their signatures for a unique purpose. The two men designed a gown of black velvet on which they hand-beaded the signatures.

 

The gown features the signatures of Hollywood legends such as Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth and Elizabeth Taylor; modern day actresses like Cate Blanchett; singer Céline Dion; and Glenn Close .
