chic28lady Posted February 15, 2012 at 07:55 PM Posted February 15, 2012 at 07:55 PM Hi everybody ! I have two questions for you : We all know the original version of Because you loved me is coming from the album Falling into you, but do you know on which album or single (if there is one) the movie version is coming from ? There's nothing on the original soundtrack and there is no word about it on the power of the music website. Do you know if I drove all night (UK radio mix a cappella) is a remix or is it just an a cappella version of the song ? Thanks in advance ! Quote
Davey84 Posted February 15, 2012 at 08:45 PM Posted February 15, 2012 at 08:45 PM I think the movie edition of BYLM is only on the end credits of the movie....it's certainly not on any official Céline album or single. Tyler1991 Posted February 16, 2012 at 12:46 AM Posted February 16, 2012 at 12:46 AM Does the movie version have the second verse and chorus, or is the only movie version pretty much the 08-present live version she's been doing.... I love the instrumental arrangement for the movie version, it's a bit different. Quote
Matias Posted February 16, 2012 at 02:35 AM Posted February 16, 2012 at 02:35 AM As far as I know the movie version has a longer intro, I like it a lot, the rest I think it is the same.. Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_maic6m257V1rbfceqo2_250.gif"No no, put it back..."

chic28lady Posted February 17, 2012 at 01:10 AM Author Posted February 17, 2012 at 01:10 AM I was hoping to see the movie version on a CD, but I guess that's why they say "movie version". And what about the song I drove all night (UK radio mix a cappella) ? Is it just an a cappella version of I drove all night or is there some instrumental arrangement in the song ? Quote
maceta_biloxi Posted February 17, 2012 at 12:53 PM Posted February 17, 2012 at 12:53 PM There is an acapella version indeed, i am not quite sure about the name but it is something with UK acapella, i have it in my computer at home I can send it to you later today. chic28lady Posted February 17, 2012 at 08:19 PM Author Posted February 17, 2012 at 08:19 PM I know that version, it's on Hex Hector fan website. We have a version called UK acapella and a version called UK radio mix a cappella. I'm pretty sure they are different. Quote
maceta_biloxi Posted February 17, 2012 at 09:46 PM Posted February 17, 2012 at 09:46 PM They are different, one is just the acapella, the other has an acapella intro and then the remix kicks in. I have both versions. Quote Do What You Want But Harm No One http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs939.snc4/73202_10150111343007542_831827541_7586213_4279368_n.jpg...Looking Alike!?

Timster Posted February 18, 2012 at 09:55 AM Posted February 18, 2012 at 09:55 AM Also, her voice is in a much lower key, just like in the Then You Look At Me movie version. The BYLM soundtrack version on your blog is 1 semitone lower than the album version (the same key as most of Celine's live performances). But it sounds as if they just lowered her voice, the vocals sound identical on both versions. But the BYLM performance on Regis & Kathie Lee is actually in the same key as the album version, even though it is the soundtrack arrangement! It's also interesting how they shortened the song even more for this live performance, it's just like the AND arrangement but with the intro. As for TYLAM, it is the same key in both the album & soundtrack versions. Quote
Celine Fan 77 Posted February 18, 2012 at 11:05 AM Posted February 18, 2012 at 11:05 AM What you mean is that she did not record BYLM twice (one for the soundtrack and another for FIY), she recorded it once and her voice was lowered for the movie version. Yes, if you listen to the vocals carefully you will find they are identical, I think they just lowered the vocals for the soundtrack version. Quote

MTJ Posted February 18, 2012 at 01:48 PM Posted February 18, 2012 at 01:48 PM That's interesting to consider. Maybe she confuses BYLM and MHWGO. You know how she says she only recorded MHWGO once (the demo), but there are at least two different vocal versions? That's what I've always wondered about. Quote
