Well, this is only the first time she's had to cancel a show since her comeback almost a year ago, that is not bad going!

Yeah I don't see any releases from either the club or the promoter either. I'm 99% sure it's accurate tho. CDI usually is.

Called the Club and it is confirmed that Celine had to cancel.

Better now though than in Vegas tho ay, as I flew to Vegas three times to see 9 shows over previous years and she cancelled 3 shows due to health issue like other fans have experienced, plus Belfast 98/99, which I believe is the only concert from 98/99 that she has yet to reschedule after promising to... so now that Jamaica has been done and various local florida fundraisers have/or about to have taken place, maybe its time you kept that promise, now that N.Ireland is the the place to visit for 2012, with the official & biggest Titanic exhibition on the planet opening in late March, a few days before the world premiere of the 3D release of Titanic in London, which is a 45 min flight away, so now is the time to keep ur promise and deliver for ur N.Irish fans...

 

EDIT: And yes I'm pissed off... and if I have missed any shows that she cancelled in 98/99 and has yet to reschedule, please let me know... i.e cities or countries that she planned to play for the 1st time but had to cancel for obvious reasons... but which shes yet to play after promising to reschedule in a press/publicist statement, because I will pursue this, trust me!

OMG, only in my dreams LOL.  You have to be a member of the club to attend this event.  I believe the initial fee to join is $100,000 and my annual income is no where near that amount.  

I  called the Club to confirm for CDF that Celine would not be at the event since nothing was officially posted on the Internet. They were really nice and asked if I had a reservation, I had to chuckle inside, and stated no.  I Told them I was calling on behalf of Celine's fans.  

It seems the Event will still take place, however, without Celine.  At least that's the impression I got from my conversation with the Club.

I actually was wondering if this could have been in the initial/beginning stages in Jamaca and that's why things may have seemed a little off to some of you.

After the sandstorm of negativity that flew through here the last few days, it's good to see fans coming together again to at least wish her a speedy recovery, if for no other reason than that some of you are going to see her. That's something. She will get better, and she Will record. I know it! She does care about us.

I have a feeling everyone will think this is the dumbest and most wasteful, pointless idea yet, but, what if we got together and sent some flowers to her on behaf of all of us at CDF? BTW, thanks to whoever called on behalf of all of us. We disagree sometimes, but we are a community and I don't want what seemed to be happening the last few days to keep happening to her fan base!!!

Anyway, if anyone wants to do something, or even get together and send a card or something, or even if you just know the address where it could go, PM me or something and we'll work it out.

We love you, Celine, get better. You are so needed in the world, your amazing voice and bueatiful smile, bright spirit. Rest and then come back swinging!!!!

Sorry. At the time people were just saying she had a sudden illness. There was know info on what type of illness it didn't say she had the flu until later. I know the situation now. I just didn't know if it was vocal related, or what kind of virus she had. There wasn't alot of details.

Pity she had to cancel, Jamaica and the change in climate probably took it out of her a bit alright. Maybe she got food poisoning from all the jerk chicken she "claimed" to have been eating whilst there.

Honestly I didn't care very much for this show. But of course, I hope Celine gets well as soon as possible! My brother has been battling the flu for the entire week and he is back in top shape again, I hope she takes the time she needs to recover and go back to the studio!
