squirebuffy Posted January 2, 2012 at 07:38 PM Posted January 2, 2012 at 07:38 PM This would be my list: 1. To Love You More - EPIC EPIC EPIC the vocal runs at the end are just stupidly good. 2. All By Myself - crazy powerful and love the climax 3. With This Tear - the belting and vocal runs are full of anguish to match the lyrics 4. Its All Coming Back To Me Now - simply epic 5. Seduces Me - very sexy and the top chest belt is lovely 6. The Power Of Love - passionate love the end note 7. I Want You To Need Me - Sexy and powerful i like the vocal runs 8. I Surrender - EPIC 9. Think Twice - very very soulful 10. The Reason - Very creative arrangement and full of eneregy Thoughts? Opinions? Quote
Tyler1991 Posted January 3, 2012 at 08:25 AM Posted January 3, 2012 at 08:25 AM Seduces Me is the only one that doesn't really belong. The rest I agree with, though I probably wouldn't put IACBTMN so high on the list. In terms of difficulty, Declaration Of Love is a reeeally hard song to sing - while no particular note is jawdropping, the whole song is in a really high key. Le Blues Du Businessman should be on this list as well. I'd even consider The Power Of The Dream. New Dawn should be on here to, it's incredibly underrated. Quote
Bell Posted January 3, 2012 at 09:49 AM Posted January 3, 2012 at 09:49 AM I agree with both of you. I think that her 1993 (or 1994, not sure) live performance of 'Can't Help Falling In Love' must be on the list. Quote 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER
Celine Fan 77 Posted January 3, 2012 at 12:41 PM Posted January 3, 2012 at 12:41 PM Alright, so this would be my personal list: 1. Declaration Of Love,2. I Want You To Need Me3. I Surrender 4. Then You Look At Me5. Sola Otra Vez6. Le Blues Du Businessman7. Is Nothing Sacred (Anymore)8. (You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman9. O Holy Night10. Make You Happy Gosh, I never though it would be that hard to make such a list. I decided to include DOL in first place because, just like Tyler said, it's a song that's very high all the time and has some nice belts and not many pauses for Celine's voice to rest during the song.I included SOV instead of All By Myself because it was clearly harder for Celine to record the Spanish version than the original one in English because of the pronunciation and the fact that it's a language that is still unknown for her nowadays.INS(A) is probably one of the hardest songs she has ever recorded; the second half of the song is quite something. It features incredibly high notes and she goes through them without any difficulties (at least that is what it looks like). Finally, MYH has some nice high notes as well, specially during the second half, near the end of the performance. wjd Posted January 3, 2012 at 02:32 PM Posted January 3, 2012 at 02:32 PM The most demanding song she's ever sung is either All By Myself or Is Nothing Sacred. The latter is absolutely mindblowing. And I have YET to come across any song as difficult. Celine Fan 77 Posted January 3, 2012 at 03:11 PM Posted January 3, 2012 at 03:11 PM Some of the songs I considered to include in the list were Priere Paienne, The Reason I Go On, Map To My Heart, Just Walk Away and Just a Little Bit Of Love, which is uptempo but at the same time quite demanding vocally. Tyler1991 Posted January 3, 2012 at 09:27 PM Posted January 3, 2012 at 09:27 PM River Deep, Mountain High and Love Can Move Mountains are actually really difficult when sang properly. It's a shame they're both butchered now though. Quote

Celine Fan 77 Posted January 3, 2012 at 11:33 PM Posted January 3, 2012 at 11:33 PM Don't forget that the long belt in Sorry For Love was edited; Celine didn't hold the note for such a long time. JasonFromTheMoon Posted January 5, 2012 at 05:29 AM Posted January 5, 2012 at 05:29 AM I would pick up the whole "D'Eux" album on first place, because to me it's her biggest studio effort to date exclusively on vocal basis. Among others:02. Only One Road03. Where Is The Love (it includes some specific notes never heard before and after)04. Love Is On The Way05. The Reason06. New Dawn07. Tous Les Blues Sont Ecrits Pour Toi08. Live09. With This Tear10. Le Blues De Businessman Quote Welcome to the "Loved Me Back To Life" era!http://s10.postimg.org/j8wfwy3ah/Fotor0101825542.jpg
