tristan.josef Posted January 18, 2012 at 09:00 AM Posted January 18, 2012 at 09:00 AM hey all - i was lucky enough to attend this show sunday night. a couple things: - there was NOT a new dress for MHWGO- her riffs on Open Arms were definitely different in a few places (good ones!)- during lullabye, rather than the usual video montage of RC and the twins, they played one of kids from the children hospital that was very sad...complete with babies hooked up to medical machines and such. celine watched the whole slideshow while she sang and did fine, but at the end of the song she lost it and it took her a minute or two to get it back together. she started to cry and kept having to wipe her tears as she tried to introduce mego before "the reason." was very sad and touching.- fyi the after party reception at PURE included a live auction of donated items and gift packages, and was an additional $100 to attend- that program was complimentary and placed on every seat in the colosseum for each guest (like opening night)- saw Rene sitting next to Dave Platel during the show, but RC/Linda/any other of Celine's immediate family was not seen by anyone i talked to- super strong vocal performances this night - the best i have heard from her yet!- she was a tad late getting on for LCMM again after the Michael Jackson costume change - she sang the first few lines offstage- some extra dialogue from celine between numbers talking about sickle cell and referencing the benefit. i had an amazing time and was neat to be part of something above average and unique! hope this is informative...if anyone has questions about this night ask away and ill try to answer! Actually, Celine only raised $1 million, which was Gary Loveman's goal and they met it.The hospital's goal in the next few years is to raise a total of $6 million hey all - i was lucky enough to attend this show sunday night. a couple things: - she was a tad late getting on for LCMM again after the Michael Jackson costume change - she sang the first few lines offstage I attended 4 shows in the new year, and it's part of the show now for Celine to come out later during LCMM.I wouldn't mind if Elise and Dawn sings some more of Declaration of Love, thus giving her even more time to change before she comes out!
