When i listen to this song i close my eyes, i see my dreams, i see pictures in my mind, i grow wings and i fly away into the sky, i'am happy, i see my lover, all the pain and stress just goes away, i fly through the planets with my partner, i see animals, i see heaven, i feel my heart

and i know my heart is full of love and happiness

Neat that a topic is started for an individual song of hers. I love this song and am sorry no one else has responded. But I enjoy this song. I feel so sad for her every time I hear it, you do know what the song is/was about, right? But the imagery and pictures this song creates/paints/invites is so vivid I can actually see those things she sings about. And those high notes in the middle...oh my word. Only she can do something like that and really make it work.

I like this song in both its English and French versions, but I don't listen to it often because it brings tears to my eyes every time! I can almost feel Celine's sadness. Anyone who thinks she sings with "fake" emotion seriously needs to give that song a listen!!

 

Oh, and I completely agree with Christina about the high notes. They're amazing!

Well it's not at all relaxing for me, because it's very, very sad. I love it so much, maybe the most touching Celine song. I prefer the English version though.

Great topic by the way. I love both songs, although Fly,and Vole, are very sad. I can't listen to them with out crying. I think there some of the most brilliant written songs that Celine has ever sung and recorded.

Relaxing? Not for me. Well, if we take the melody without the lyrics or don't really know what it's about, it could be relaxing but...I just find it equally sad and beautiful.
