Hi all,

Okay, this is my last one. You can make so many different designs using one concept.

I like this one very much. It is more mature I think and it reflects the documentary

Great Job browseceline! I do think this one is your best one of the 3. Say, if you have some free time can I make a request for a couple more dvd covers? Not for "Celine 3 Boys and A New Show", but for a couple of other downloads that I've got on dvd from the forum? Do you mind if I send you a PM?

thanks Ghazal en Littleliv! - yes EA26, I thought I can offer people another one because so many people so many tastes, and I actually like this one best now. It is more serious and reflects the contents of the documentary very well I think:-)

For printing this one, make sure the outcome is not too dark, otherwise you can't see all persons in the frontcover. Printing with your own printer on high glossy paper suitable for that printer, is the best way:-)

the view of the stage from behind is very beautiful, I think this is the best cover of the three!
Merci Monsieur Angélil pour tout ce que vous avez fait, pour l'avoir aimée jusqu'au bout. Aujourd'hui on sait que Céline n'est pas vraiment Céline sans vous.

Oh, thx a lot! I'm a disaster using Photoshop and I was wondering where I would find a good cover at all... And you did that! Amazing job! Congratulations!

I created a dvd myself using the highest quality rendering in MPEG2 and it only takes 3600mb on a normal dvd, so I don't see burning it on a 25 gig. empty bluray.. Or you should have recorded the show yourself and directly used the original recordings in original outputformat, without any compression, but these hd files are already altered in DIVX6 format, although of very high quality, very high. In fact when you render it like I have done now, using sony vegas and the highest MPEG2 settings, you can't get any better quality! ( by the way the outcome is so small because I sliced away the commercials in between ( coming up) and therefor reducing the size to 60 minutes approximately

But If you want a bluray cover, of course I can make one, I am just not sure if it is needed

but let me know:-)

I was thinking of putting it on blueray as well, because the picture size is pretty much the same as blueray. HD is 1920×1080 while those recording were done in 1920×1088. (I think)

While if you put it onto DVD it drops down to 720 × 576 pixels.

I would need to try it out first and see how it go.

..mm that's indeed right, although I really must say, Like I have rendered it now the quality is like a bluray to me.. I think I would not see much difference. I rendered it as mpeg2 in custom mode, which takes like 3 hours te render in highest quality. I don't have the option to burn to bluray anyway. Btw you say want to try it out but, are there bluray rewritables available? Otherwise you letterly "burn" your bluraydisc if the endresult is not nice enough !

Btw I created a very cool dvdmenu as well, in same style as the covers, including chapters etc. using TMPEG dvd author.

Can't share the dvd here though since it is over 3 gig. - takes way too much time to upload I think..

Well I'm going to have a go at doing a DVD first when I get home and see how long that take. Does the trial version of Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Production Suite have a watermark on the output of the videos?

Hey Daniel!

My guess is that this trial version is completely working for the trial time.

My workflow for creating this dvd:

I loaded all the 7 parts in vegas, put them behind each other on the timeline,

than zoom in as far as possible until you are on frame-zoom, and search where the commercials start,

than slice at that point by pressing S when your cursor is on the frame where you want to slize.

Do this with every part, until everything is completely one movie.

What I also did is render the audio to WAVE and use any kind of audio software to correct the audio ( take away pieces of the commercials audio). ( be careful not to erase wanted parts)

Than import the new audio as wave ( you saved it as wave again) n vegas, delete the old audio, make sure you select everything on the timeline so it highlights in blue and than render:

find the best settings on the internet. I used mainconcept mpeg2 rendering, on highest image quality ( which is 31 I think?) 16:9 NTSC (29,750 or something?)

and give bitrate from 8000 , three times, one for maximum, minimum and at least.

render the audio to Mp3 256kbps and if you like to, deinterlace as well, I did not and the result is still stunning

I render to mpeg2 to use it in dvd author. Made a menu using Photoshop ( lot of work I tell you!) then render to a dvd,

burn with nero - that is about it

note that the rendering takes more than 2 hours for this 1hour documentary. But it is well worth it.

( choose 2 pass btw)

Thank-you for that :) I will give it a go and see how I go. If it go really quick then I will have a go at doing a blueray version.

I'm just hoping that my home-built computer will handle converting to blueray.

welll I rendered to avi first, in bluray format, But I stopped quite quickly because it takes soooooooo much space on your pc! gigabytes and gigabytes.. easily more than a hundred ( if you choose uncompressed avi)
