Nadine Coyle, a member of UK girl band Girls Aloud, claims to be writing songs for a 'Celine Dion project'

 

I don't really like Nadines solo material, hope this doesnt happen!

Nadine lived in my street before we both moved to London ''seperatley ofcourse'' all those years ago...

I like her songwriting skills, she has an amazing voice and shes a Celine fan... its just a shame that her solo career has not took off yet.

WOW!!!! Thats interesting !!! I hope she writes something good for her, i havent thought much of Nadines songs so far, but im sure Celine wont take it if its not good. I hope Celine is planning a great come back! it would be amazing !

There seems to be songwriters writing original material for Céline everywhere since 3 years ago, but Céline's team/René seem to pay little attention and only have eyes for covers

I agree, her head has grown way too big for her boots ! god watching that interview , i couldnt help but compare her to Celine and how humble Celine is compared to Nadine (even though Celine is on a way different level!!)

For example, if celine was writting material for a famous artist like herself or collaborating with someone really great she would of been like " oh im so excited, that person is so great" . Nadine was just their loving how cool it made her sound.

And where was Nadine going with the sun glasses on stage????!!! She was having a bit of a Bono moment !

Although i'm not particularly a fan of Nadine I think it's great that young songwriters still want to write for Celine. Like with the "Taking Chances" album I was impressed to see a Delta Goodrem song on that I think it's great they want to send their songs to Celine.

I know that album was put together as a last minute "Chrysler promotion" release but it does have some of the best uptempo and pure pop songs Celine's ever done on it don't you think? We all love "I Drove All Night" and I personally think they missed a huge opportunity by not releasing "Reveal" as a single especially since it was written by Cathy Dennis who was so popular providing Kylie Minogue with similar songs at the time. "Naked" is another example of good pop song and the slower songs "I Know What Love Is" and "Je T'aime Encore" are also good songs I feel." However when you start to remember songs like "Love Is All We Need" I can understand the disappointment.

 

As an overall album I can see why people would be disappointed with its place in Celine's discography but I do think there are some gems on the album.

Well said Shaun! I don't understand why people trash so bad this album! Agree that Love Is All We Need is not the best song she has recorded in english, neither it is the title track, but I think that's the only black sheep in this album, and that's much to say! If we consider the rest of the songs alone, many of them are true gems like you say

 

One Heart has some of the best uptempo songs she has in her career: Reveal, Faith and I Drove All Night are all top quality. And in the ballads side, I Know What Love Is could have been a potential hit in her career, but it was neglected as many other songs .

 

The english version of Je T'aime Encore is even better than the french one, and the slow songs In His Touch and Stand By Your Side are also quite interesting tracks

 

The fact that this album maybe contains leftovers from A New Day Has Come sessions makes it like a second part from that album, and that means quality at her best. Other thing is that it was all put together in the last minute, to serve the deal with Chrysler. But that has nothing to do if we consider each song individually

 

One they they should release ANDHC with a bonus disc including:

Totally agree with you Shaun & Javito.

 

One Heart is one of my favourite albums. It definitely feels like the second part of ANDHC, which is great. Considering it put together quite quickly, there are some fantastic songs, and all the tracks go together very well on this CD - far better than LTAL I have to say!!

Yes I Have To Dream was "released" in the credits from the movie "Children on their birthdays", but it never was released in any album nor it got a proper "album version" (in the movie its mixed with the voice of a girl singing in the end of the movie)

LOL good I started a discussion this way, but I meant the SONG One Heart AKA a mindless poppy songs, very popular in the begining of the 00's...

 

OH did have great songs on it, but of course Sony didn't care to promote or release them, except for Faith and SBYS, but with zero performances from Célines side, they were doomed from the start. Revealed and Naked could have been hits too...
