Taking Chances CD / DVD / Perfume Set

Hi everyone,

 

Just got myself out of hot water, i promised the wife when we saw the show in vegas, 3rd of july that i would buy her some celine perfume,

Anyway we got side tracked at the end of the show, due to the fireworks and never made it back to celines store, so as you can guess no perfume.

Right, now all debate going on in the house always finishes with my wife saying "yes, just like the perfume you promised me in vegas". 1-0 to her.

But she doesn,t really know how cunning us men can be, so online i go, typing 1 fingered again as we men do, too try and find celine perfume.

Tesco,s our big chain supermarket looked a favorite to help me out, found a celine dion taking chances box set, 1 cd, 1 five track dvd and a 0.5 oz perfume, enchanting........ £39.00 or $64.00 plus delivery, i filled my request in for the items only to find it out of stock, trust my luck.

There was nothing left to do but trawl the internet, nothings too much for the wife, especially when she,s in that mood,lol.

Well could the gods manage too spoil my attempt to right a wrong..... not a chance, found a website with the above items listed for £10.99 or $18.00, a right result or what, now she,s happy, i,m happy and even our dogs happy.

 

Now my guess is this box-set must be old or dated stock, but even so the perfume seems 100% (perhaps you kind girls can tell me if perfume can go off or degrade), and the discs speak for themselves. We,ve recieved the box-set and its in perfect condition, so i guess that gets me two goals to win the game, a right royal result.

 

If your reading this and my wifes name shows up as using this forum, answer someone else,s topic, she doesn,t really need to know, does she lol.

I think that is an old box-set. But to anser your question, yes perfume can go off. It loses its smell after a while. But as long as the bottle is sealed properly, it can last for a while a guess. But once it is opened it does become like water if it is not used. It also depends on the make, some fragrances last very long others don't. But to be honest with you, Celine's fragrances are produced by Coty and they do not make good long lasting fragrances.

I've seen that box set for sale on Ebay all the time and it's not that expensive. You might look there.
