Lol it's funny to see Celine cooking even though she sort of doesn't know how but she tries. She was a great assistant to her mom. I wish I would have understood what they were saying tho. Thanks again!

Ooops I thought she didn't know how to cook well thanks for telling me. Yea I kind of figured that she couldn't get a word out in the show because of her mom lol. He went on August so there are plenty of fishes waiting for Céline in the freezer.

 

Céline watched a few of Maman Dion's shows and finds the kitchen very pretty and feels

that her mom is doing a great job. Thérèse says that she is getting better, that at first,

she was talking to the cameraman. Céline just wants her mom to feel good about doing

that show and she is very happy for her.

 

The people on the wall are Thérèse's parents. Thérèse gave the original picture to an

artist and made that pencil drawing.

 

Céline is very happy to see her mom and is very excited to go cook in that beautiful kitchen

that everyone has been talking about.

Syrians) so this is the kind of food he grew up with. And René likes to have many different dishes

in front of him. Just like chinese food.

 

Thérèse is laughing at Céline because when she cooks at home, all the kitchenware you can think of,

Céline takes everything out to put it all on the counter.

 

Céline is not very good for the exact quantities (1 or 2 tablespoons, for example) because the way her

mom taught her how to cook is by looking and tasting at the dish and simply adding the needed quantity.

I didn't want to quote you again but I wanted to say somethings.

 

1. I never knew that Celine knew how to cook. I thought she just new how to deal with the left overs of food but not exactly cook like make things from scratch. It's true she doesn't have time so that makes sense.

2. Yea Celine is not good with quantities because she is not good with math lol ....but she could guesstimate how much ingredients to put in the food

3. I wonder if Celine ate all the fish from the freezer.

It's true she doesn't have time so that makes sense.

And remember it was on December 1999, her schedule was totally crazy at that time.

She was doing some kind of sprint to be on every show before her 2 year hiatus.

That is one of the reasons she wanted to stop at that time : take care of René, have kids and... cook!

Oh yes true. She did mention that a lot before she went on her break. She wanted to cook her own meals. I wonder if when the time came did she ever cook? I wonder what she made? Or how did the food taste? But at least it's good to see her put her cooking into action with Maman Dion!

 

I might be wrong but I think I remember Rene saying that Celine was good with leftovers....so we all know that man never went anywhere hungry lol.

Also, interesting to hear from Celine that her next english album already had a release date (initially for the end of 1995) more than one year before. You can feel the pressure Sony was putting on her. They already thought about when to launch their next blockbuster, even though the production of FIY was not even started ^^.
