In the beginnings, i did not understand the attraction, the tunes were not to my liking (d'amour ou m'amitié..etc..). She has a nasal voice. But then she sang some Plamondon songs , it was very good, but still , i was not convinced. Then came D'eux, and i could not stop listening the album After came the big english success, it was good but never as good as the french songs for me. Now and for about three months, it's like a new love story for me. I'm obsessed, i've read about everything that i could find on the net. Needless to say that your forum is the best, and i thank everibody who had contributed. I've completed my cd collection of Celine, and listening to it, i'm very proud to say thet i love every album from her. But especially Taking chances, i don't know why , maybe the diversity...I hope for the future that Celine will surprise us all and herself as i believe that we have not seen all she can do. In resume, what i love the most about Celine is the positivity, the strenght and that she stays true to herself thank you I Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

I don't agree with some of your earlier feelings regarding her, but it is a process. I also must accknowledge that I don't understand the culture as well since I am not from there so must respect what it must have been like for you. Glad you have come around to her. I too love everything she has ever done.You will indeed learn about her and her music here, many aspects of her, and I am certain you will teach us some about your native star that is Celine!
