Hi all,

 

I have always wanted to share this with you. A time ago I created an instrumental version of mhwgo, with more powerful drums, flute, strings etc.

Marix on this channel, helped me match Celine's original vocal with my backgroundmusic. The result is very nice and I hope you all like it!

I objected to youtube for shutting down the music since I created the whole musictrack myself, even though the tempo and the style is similar.

let's see what youtube does. Yes I used Celine's vocal, but I have seen more people on youtube remixing songs, I don't see the problem and I don't want to make money with it.. so now at this moment you can all watch the video, since the objection I did took the muting of the sound away.

 

important: watch/listen to the video in 480p because that gives the best sound quality

I liked this version too. It's softer than LTAL's version. Sounds more like the Titanic's sound track version. I only think that her voice could be louder in the mix. Sometimes I almost can't hear her. But it's a nice version.

hm well, If we made the loudness of her voice even louder it would overpower the instrumental I think. But glad you liked it:-)

I actally don't mind this remix. I'm normally really really harsh on people putting their own twist on Celine's songs but, that was lovely!

thank you all! as for the mp3, maybe later. as for the instrumental I will put it on youtube as soon as I am finished with a German recording of the song ( a girl from youtube is gonna sing it). For now I can recommend going to www.keepvid.com to download the mp3 ( copy and paste the url).

Reason for not giving away the mp3 now is that it has taken a lot of work and I don't want to share it immediately. I hope for now i can please you with the youtube version first. And the rest will come later okay?

 

 

FRENCH FEMALE VOCALIST

I am also looking for a French female singer, with a Celinelike ( or just powerhouse amazing) voice who wants to dare singing the French version ( see songtext on my channel) in native French. I will then make a rerecording using the instrumental and mixing your voice in best studio quality.

So fangirls all over the world who have fantastic voices, let me know! ( good French pronounciation is required!)

Oh my god that was great!!! I think a couple more dramatic sounds would have been a good touch, like in the TCWT when she's sings "THERES NOTHING I FEAR, AND I KNOW THAT MY HEART WILL GO ON" between the word 'will' and 'go' it has that "DUN DUN!" kind of sound from the drums, I think that would have been good in the remix. But you did a fantastic job!

Well the actual instrumental is more powerful and louder but since I extracted Celine's voice from the original recording a tiny bit of the backgroundmusic could not be removed, so that is why in the mix my instrumental is not at full strength. But glad you liked it so much!

 

Btw youtube claimed copyrights on my video and therefor I emailed them that I created the whole thing myself, just using Celine's voice, but the rest is completely created by me with several instruments on my computer, but several parties still claim my video and that is why the video can not be seen in a very big part of the world:-S Stupid copyright issues on youtube instead of saying hey that is great you did that.. makes me sad that they are so strict.

Anyway, for all international viewers that cannot watch the video; download the video via keepvid ; copy and paste the url in the url window of keepvid.com and download either the video or the mp3 in high quality, so you can still watch the video if it is denied in your country

well , the backgroundmusic was completely played by me, and Celine's voice, we took it via a plugin - extraboy- extraboy removes backgroundmusic from voice, or voice from backgroundmusic, but the more complex the music the difficult it is to completely isolate the whole voice. That is why a tiny bit of the original backgroundmusic shines through but is overplayed by my own backgroundmusic.

The voice will most usually be audible, though soft. So it is easy to sing over it with your own voice, or mix it in your own music, like I did.

Marix on this channel, helped me to mix the isolated voice with the music, which is not exactly the same length or exact bpm, so it takes some audio editing/stretching and cutting , but it worked:-)

I take it that you need very good hearing to do this as well? Ether way, I'm going to have look at this and see if I can pull something off. Maybe not with Celine's music but someone's else music.

The First time I saw Titanic in cinema I had to have this song on cd. And i had to play it, it is still one of Celine's best songs in my opinion and it is the song that made me become a fan of Celine! It was a pleasure working on this song:-)

Yeah I was the same way.. I was in 6th grade when Titanic came out and remember when my heart will go on was everywhere. I learned to play it by ear on my piano and even bought an irish flute and learned that all because of titanic lol. Such a great song..

same here, I can't read sheetmusic so i did it all by ear:-) I use the flute I have on my keyboard and computer and that one sounds pretty real to me haha I love playing this song. I am now even making a trance/houseversion of the song hahah
