I have to say though, I like her even more as an actress. One of my 2 favourite movies of all time - I like them both the same, can't choose one - is "Victor/Victoria". The other one "The Philadelphia Story", with Katharine Hepburn. From Julie, I also simply love "The Americanization of Emily", also because that movie had the guts, in an American society that's so pro-military, to say it's not OK to glorify soldiers and war in general. I guess that's also one of the reasons it wasn't that appreciated or well known when it was made. I also love "Duet For One", I think she did such an amazing job in that one. And "10", "SOB", "Star!", "Thoroughly Modern Millie". And, of course, I always watch "The Sound of Music" and "Mary Poppins" with lots of pleasure. I really wish she'd make some more real movies again, not just lend her voice to animated movies. I think she'd be brilliant in another drama like "Duet For One". She didn't have the chance to make many roles like that, I think she's probably one of the most typecast actresses. I'm also a huge fan of her late husband, Blake Edwards. I felt so bad for her when she lost her singing voice, but her speaking voice and lovely accent, plus sense of humor, is awesome still. Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine!
