She actually recorded the original version of Carrie Underwood's "SOME HEARTS" about 15 years ago for the "America's Sweethearts" soundtrack. Kelly was supposed to release a solo album around the same time but everyone she was working with got fired and her project got shelved. There was actually a cover of "ONLY ONE ROAD" that was supposed to be on that album and is actually quite fantastic. She's an amazing singer, as is Tyler Hamilton. You should all give them a listen. They are really incredible. She sits at piano and plays/sings 'Because You Love Me' (amongst many others) the song was written about her father. Quite an interesting watch. Diane had a problem with her voice and struggled to sing - she asked the audience to back her up and a lady in the audience really pulled through so Diane asked her to come up to the piano and join her for the rest of the songs - and was so grateful she said she would give the girl one of her songs as a gift.
