Celine Then & Now

Celine looks the freakin same as 13 years ago!! Ever since the twins Celine has had this happy youthful glow to her. I love her new look too. The hair is amazing!! Does anyone agree that Celine looks better then ever?

I give you the explanation:

Back in 1999 for example, she was more natural, more "special" because she had an enchanting natural charm.

 

Yes nowdays she looks more "beautiful" but i find her too much artificial. She's putting on too much makeup (sorry for the expression but sometimes she looks like a transvestite) and the worst thing she's wearing actually, are her false lashes

Moreover, when you see HQ pictures of Celine with and without makeup, there is a huge difference. On HQ pics where she wears a lot of makeup, it puts her wrinkles in evidence (under her eyes for example), while on pictures where she's not wearing any makeup, her skin is so beautiful and she got less wrinkles. I have nothing against her wrinkles lol, i admire her for not having surgery and she doesn't need it anyway, but i mean by this way that she is overdoing with her makeup nowdays. She doesn't need to put on too much makeup to look beautiful, a little but not as much as she wears.

I think Céline looks prettier now. I hated her eye makeup at in the pic taken in 1998. But without all the make up she wears, I like her look as much as 10-15 years ago. But with make up- I like it more now

I'm with you, too. I mean, she looks great for her age, motherhood makes her even more beautiful but...she's really using much make up these days. I'd prefer a more natural look.

When Celine is on stage or on TV, She has to wear a lot of make up..just like every other star because of lighting and to highlight their features to the audience who are mostly sitting pretty far away. I remember when I used to do shows i'd have to put on a thin line of eyeliner just to "widen" my eyes to the audience, to make my eyes more prominent because the lighting will drown out your face completely. However, I do agree that Celine does look better now than she eve has.

You're completely right! When I used to do dance shows, my face would have to be caked in make up. It's essential, otherwise you end up looking like a corpse when the lights hit you!

 

On another note, saying that she 'sometimes looks like a transvestite' is really harsh imo. That basically says she looks like a man, and that's not very nice; she's a stunner!

 

Personally, I love the 92 period, and 93 before she cut her hair, or when she was wearing a wig. However, I think she's looked great throughout (she's had the odd faux pas, but who hasn't lol). I have to say though, from Taking Chances onward, she has looked almost flawless!

 

No matter what make up she wears, it never changes how gorgeous her eyes are, and imo, they light up her whole face. I think she is just one of those women that is naturally really attractive. I think I've posted this in a pervious thread but, you can be really beautiful, and not be attractive, but Celine really is both; she just has something about her which makes her insanely sexy.

 

Also, I agree with above posts that metion how motherhood has give her an amazing glow! Then again, a woman is always more beautiful when she's happy!

 

Can you tell I'm just the tiniest bit in love with her? In a nutshell: she's f**king gorgeous
