Why no vinyls from Celine?

Hi

 

I'm a vinyl collector. For those who don't know what a vinyl is, it's the old type of big discs.

 

I really wonder why do Sony Music only release a very limited number of vinyls for some Celine albums only, meanwhile WB always release Madonna's albums in all formats like CDs, Cassettes, Vinyls, etc

So all of these albums are available in limited editions only and are too expensive. Most of Celine's albums are not available on vinyls especially the new ones. Sounds so unfair.

im finding falling into you vinyl! but i think it is impossible to find it now as it is very limited!

Wow you paid lots for those 12" singles and for the albums as well. I do own a lot of 12" and vinyl albums but never paid that much.. the only REALLY expensive vinyls I have are Chante Noël and La Voix Du Bondieu both french and quebec release and paid like 150 euro for it.. Fal;ling Into was quite cheap 40 euro... But probb Sony doesn't release it cause they think ppl not going to buy it.... and they don't promote Céline as much cause her name alone is worth a diamond award

Yes artist you're right, I've been wondering myself the same question since I started collecting Celine: she barely had vinyl albums after 1996 (FIY was the last one), and singles stopped in 2003 without a picture cover and 2000 with picture cover

 

It's a shame Sony Music didn't release at least her albums in vinyl format. LTAL, All The Way and ANDHC would have sold loads if they were available in this format Or a double vinyl set of Taking Chances album, with the nice photos they took, would have been amazing for a gatefold sleeve .

 

My hope is that the format is back in fashion again these days, and there are labels especialised in the production of high quality vinyls today. Maybe they will release some of her albums in vinyl someday??

I highly doubt ATW was ever released on vinyl format... didn't you save the picture? Maybe what you saw is the 12"x12" flat to promote the album? That's not a LP

Falling Into You double LP cost me 12GBP (12 pounds) back in 2002. The cd version cost more at the time. They'll have to bury me with it, a thing of beauty. Just had a look in my spare cupboard and I found TTWII (668255 6) and 2 copies of MHWGO (665315 8) also a well worn copy of TCOML album.
