Well, yes, why is there that lack of emotion?? Because she has sang BYLM about 1200 times in 10 years and is bored to hell with it.....

 

That SSD performance you posted was not the 1200th performance....she sang it a lot on the LTAL tour, and this is one of the first and only performances of it since then.

 

Celine brought that same emotion to songs like "My Love" and songs that she has not performed 34083408480 times.

 

Sure, she may be more relaxed and fun at French concerts, but she is more comfortable as well. It's all expected.

 

Well I think we mostly agree then, but since her english speaking fans "get" Celine more often she has become more robotic and starting lacking some emotion on some songs.

I can't wait to hear more about the concert thing in Montréal. If the tickets aren't too expensive, I'll be able to go! I'm thinking though, that since it's for her foundation, it could be quite expensive...

 

It sounded to me too that it's the show she does every year in "Le Mirage" for the golf tournament to raise money for her foundation...but we'll see

There was something about this interview that I just really liked. I'm not sure what it was exactly, but it has been one of the best recently. I don't know if it's cause they actually let Celine talk or what. But good interview to watch.

Le Mirage is the name of the golf course Celine owns in Terrebonne, Quebec near Montreal.

 

Last year there was a charity event for the Maison Adhemar Dion foundation in September, but Celine was not there. This charity is devoted to taking care of senior citizens.

 

Besides that, every summer (July-August) there is a golf tournament like Lindsey said for Maman Dion's foundation.

 

But Celine mentioned in the interview that she would do a charity event for her dad's foundation in the summer for the golf tournament. So only she knows what's going on Maybe she meant her mom's charity event.

Ah! I didn't think of that, but that would make sense. So, if that's the case, I don't think anyone is going... Well see.

 

Plus, every year they do the tournois de golf Adhémar Dion so I'm sure that it's pretty much the main reason why she'd come.
