Finally I edited first of my bootlegs, here are 2 samples - let me know what do you think?

I can post the whole thing later but only in mp3. The .wav files are way to big to upload + mp3 is easy to drop and play on any player.

Anyways, guys, I realized there are a lot of confusion about the rehearsals on the 10th... People keep sending me PMs here or on Facebook asking me to send them certain songs that, unfortunately, weren't part of that particular show!

 

Just to clear a few of these confusions:

• "Diamonds Are Forever" wasn't included in that show!
  
• "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" wasn't included either!
  
• "Declaration Of Love" was only included as an instrumental intro to the LCMM & RDMH medley!
  

I'll be working on the other bootlegs soon.

i just discover the record of cheerfuljane and "i felt in love" with the audio quality (nice work)

i've done some work and separate the whole file : i just put the songs by Céline and You'll Have To Swing It (Mr. Paganini) is missing (i don't have the beginning in my download)

the album artwork is ugly but you can change it anyway

j'ai découvert l'enregistrement de cheerfuljane et j'ai adoré la qualité audio (beau travail)

j'ai un peu travaillé pour séparer le fichier : j'ai fait le choix de ne garder que les chansons où chante Céline et la chanson You'll Have To Swing It (Mr. Paganini) n'est pas présente (le début manque dans le fichier que j'ai téléchargé)

la pochette est pas top mais vous pouvez la changez

Hey everyone,

 

I'm a professional audio engineer, and I'd like to know what you guys think would be the best sounding bootleg available, as I'd like to mix and masterise it when I have some free time in my studio and share it with you all, until we have a real pro recording of the show. But I'd need the best sounding bootleg, with a clear, rich and full sound, good bass and highs, no distortion or clipping, not too much audience noises, etc...

 

I know there are a lot of bootlegs available but I haven't had the time to look at them all, so I'd like to have your opinion on which one sounds best, and I'll see what I can do with it.

April 1st and March 22nd are the best two, I think. Someone posted a recording of the 16th (not mine) that was also up there. I don't know if it was Jimena's or someone else..

I'm done with my opening night (March 15th) bootleg and, at least in my ears, it sounds waaaay better than my bootleg from the rehearsals (probably because I messed up with some settings on the 10th, )

By the way, is there an artwork for the opening night bootleg and would I be allowed to use it for my bootleg as well? I'm not sure yet how to embed the artwork using WinAmp but I'd love to try it as it would look nice on my mp3 player.

There is a software called Mp3Tag that you can edit all the info like artist, album and add the cover. And your bootleg sounds great!

Mr. Ziggy, thanks for commenting on my bootleg.

In my opinion my recording from March 10th includes too much bass.

The Opening Night bootleg still features bass but not too much and hence the highs are more clear, you can hear Céline's voice even better and you can understand the lyrics better - that's my impression.

 

I always edit the tags so that's not a problem - my bootlegs (and all other mp3s) have proper tags.

 

I wouldn't like to install yet another software on my PC as WinAmp which I'm using already contains the cover image feature.

 

My question is how to insert the image permanently using this software?

I mean so that the image won't be visible only on my own PC but also on my mp3 player etc.

By the way, someone asked for good quality version of "Open Arms" a while ago in "Requests" section so I recently posted my recording of that song in this posting - enjoy!

I remember maceta_biloxi did a Bootleg Extravaganza for the world tour, if I'm right about the person - do you mean something like that, Linds?

Or Nautanick did mixes within one song - they containend parts of different performances of one song and built the complete sopng out of these parts - that was fun!

 

Although I think it would be hard to work out as the shows are similair (in terms of setlist) yet each of them is special for itself and has its own soul! Couldn't decide which songs/moments to pick, lol...
