HEYYYY EVERYBODY!!! I was just wondering if there's anyone else going to Vegas on July 3rd 2011?? This will be my first time in Las Vegas, and my first time seeing "Celine" I am HEAD OVER HEELS EXCITED!! :clap: :whee: And the best part about it? I'm taking my whole family with me! My dad is the great great great man who took my to my first Celine concert on 9/22/08 (and he actually enjoyed it!! Ofcourse he couldn't stop staring at her legs... :sofunny: :giggle: So ofcourse I'm bringing him again, and my mom (hopefully she'll finally understand why we go nuts over her!) and my grandparents! This will be an incredible experience with me, to not only see CELINE DION but to share it with my whole familiy! (It's too bad my brother didn't want to come..lol) And I have a few questions...

1. Who's going?

2. Will anyone be able to record it with their Iphone?

Just caught your answer on my recent post.

My wife and i return to las vegas on 30th june for 2 weeks, this will be our third visit.

Unfortunetly we never got to see AND live, but hey as well as yourselfs we have tickets for the 3rd july.

where about are you sitting, hope you have good seats.

It will be our 25th wedding anniversary and i can,t think of a more fitting present to my wife than a visit to Las Vegas to see CELINE. Too be honest i can,t wait, celine seems to have taken over my life at the moment, she,s on in the car, she,s on in the house, and we,ve probably watched AND 25 times, and i,m the husband, lol.

Anyway i,ll watch your topic with interest.

Ohhh I'm SOOO glad you found my topic! Ohhhh I am SOOO excited for you guys, this is the absolute BEST present you could give her, other than eternal love! :wub: I can't believe you guys have made it to 25 years, that's truely amazing and I'm VERY proud of you guys! :thumbsup2: I never got to see A New Day.... either but I get to see it on DVD whenever I want! So this being my very first time in Vegas and first time seeing her new show ...AND being with my whole family is going to be SUCH and amazing experience! I believe I've watched AND 15 times! hahahaa.

I'm sitting in 1st Mezzanine on the right side. (if you watch the bootleg of MHWGO with the waterfall I believe that's just about where I'll be) so I have AWESOME seats!

I,m terribly sorry, but this topic was incorrectly posted on Celinefanatic07 topic of the same name, so i post again hoping it will be its own topic starter, i even managed to mix my days up, now corrected.

Right nearly there,

We arrive in vegas thursday 30th june for a full 2 week holiday,

Now i get to post on the most important date of the holiday, sunday the 3rd july is the first time we see celine dion in concert, can,t wait.

Anyway any tips at what time to arrive for the show, we have to collect tickets from box office by willcall, how early can we do this.

We have seats in forc6 slightly to the side, will we be ok with these.

Our last day in work today, but for some reason my productivitys dropped, i wonder why, honestly its nothing to do with having the best nights of our lives shortly arriving, lol.

Where i was sitting, the attendants were really on people about using their cell phones so there are no bootleg from my section.

About the show:

I thought it was AWESOME!!! Thanks to Oprah and Celine for making it happen. My one complaint is that I wish we could have been closer. We were in the rear orchestra row K the first night and row m the second night. We were center, so they were good seats. I just wish we could have been closer but I'm happy. It was free.

Anyway, I mentioned one or two things in a previous post (the little girl givng Celine a letter and the woman who gave her a gift when Celine was walking down the aisle). Personally I did not appreciate them doing at that moment but I guess you never know when the opportunity will come so you have to go with it. I just thought it was awkward.

All of the boring people got the good seats!!! :evil: During the upbeat songs, when Celine really wanted people up the audience sat down. Once the people up front sat down it became like a wave. Everyone in the back sat down. Too. The only people continued to stand and dance were people like Lindsey who we know to be a die-hard fan: ) I wanted to be up front to shake my booty too, so Celine and the band could see I was enjoying myself. But what they got were sticks in the mud. :confused: :evil:

My husband questioned whether Celine was authentic because she pretty much stuck to a script when speaking to the audience. She did change it a little because it rained. I explained to him that she has so much going on that sometimes it helps keep things running smoothly and in a timely manner, especially since we know she's a talker.

Overall, for me it wad a wonderful experience. Just want to be closer next time. We left this morning and I already miss being there.

Thanks for the recap! I'm glad you had an awesome time!

It does suck a little that Celine sticks to the script, but it fits...especially for the people who's seeing the show for the 1st time.

Hopefully she'll change it up a little later!

I still laugh whenever Celine introduces "The Reason" as a song from a few years ago. It's like 12 yrs ago!! Hahaha

She does say that! In fact she says he "just turned 10". She talks about her thee little boys "no, four little boys", she's happy being back in Vegas but rene is even happier.....

She was so funny and cute up close- lots of winks again and I try not too cry too much when she's close to me, but she caught me a couple times and did the sweetest little things like smile and put her hand close to her heart like "It's ok...." and of course, I'd smile and no more tears :wub:

She sang to my friend, which made me so happy!

Yeah I figured everyone would me a little more excited on the 3rd since it was the 4th show/weekend/last show, but it was mainly the band , Celine, and the fans up front who were excited- I heard a few fans from the back yelling down to her, which she heard

I mean, it was a sold-out show, it was almost impossible to get tickets- I was SO LUCKY, I prayed REAL hard haha, and I was able to miraculously go from no ticket at all to front row on one of the most sold out shows yet- it still blows my mind, but Vegas IS my lucky charm after all! The gamble is worth it for Celine :throb:

What made my life was during LCMM when she came over to dance with us, Told me I was "Lookin sooooOOOOooooo goooood" and then "I love your dress" smiling and pointing her magic golden mic stand at me. Truth is that is now my new ringtone hhahaha :throb:

During RDMH, :lmao: we both started doing the exact same dance moves to each other at exactly the same moment. 'Do I love you my oh my.." I started pointing at her on the beat and dancing and she was pointing her mic stick at me doing exactly the same dance move and it cracked us both up and she laughed and came over and sang right to us smiling the whole time :wub: Pretty funny.

Roxy- if you're reading this- it was that dress at Bebe I liked (the cheetah one). I went back and got it and I'm so glad I did hahaha :throb:

Magical! Her dress was pretty wet after MHWGO! It was dripping water! They said every night they have to get someone to help her off the giant sponge after the curtain closes.

OH and it was POURING rain minutes before the show- I am So happy I went over early because I walked So when she opened the show she said, "We shoulda started the show tonight with 'Here comesssss the rainnn againnn..' it's pretty rare in the desert I guess...." It was beautiful :throb:

Maybe it still feels like a few years ago to her that she recorded The Reason. Besides, how good would it sound if she said, "yeah ten yplus ears ago I recorded this song..." That makes her and Sir George Martin feel/look old. I'm sure though that if enough people point it out...

And I'm sure she will keep up with R.C.'s age as it progresses...

Wow , cant believe it rained in Vegas! Cant imagine it , must of been really different.

Ya it does suck a little that Celine sticks to a script, but i guess most performers do who plaY night after night, they cant be coming up with new things to say every night.

I have a fun story to share with you all. It actually happened on the 29th of June, but I'll post here. She stopped, put her hand on my arm and said, "I don't want this to sound odd, but I'm a palm reader and you have the most AMAZING energy right now- it's radiating all over the place, I haven't seen anything like it in awhile- I would love to do a reading on you, do u have a few minutes?" I told her I had to be somewhere and she was like, "Are you sure? I'll do it free right here- I just want to know what's going on!"

I was thinking to myself, "I just came from Celine's show and I had the most amazing night...if she had been in the Colosseum with me she might have exploded from my energy hahaha."

I secretly freakin adore that my energy was lightin up Las Vegas

Don't buy a $$$$ ticket! You never have to pay that for those seats I've never paid more than $300 for front row.
