su rete 4 un paio d'anni fa hanno trasmesso il concerto di celine al kodak theatre..ora, lo speciale durò circa tre quarti d'ora e sicuramente il concerto fu più lungo..sapete quali songs ha cantato in più?

 

e un'altra cosa, sul singolo di goodbye's c'è pure un vido di lei che la canta al kodak appunto..però sembra in playback..la cantò veramente o l'hanno fatta solo x il singolo?

lo ricordo quello show,tagliato tantissimo più che un concerto sembrava una pubblicità,si sprecavano se mettevano qualche canzone in più

durante quel concerto cantò anche ten days, aun existe amor e goodbye's the saddest word...il tutto rigorosamente live come confermato da chi partecipo al concerto...

 

sul singolo poi fecerò un copia incolla della radio edit versione album.....togliendoci l'unica possibilità di sentire live quella song

Esistono le performance di "Aun Existe Amor", "Goodbye's" e "Ten Days", che non sono state mandate in onda dalla CBS.

 

A tal proposito vi propongo un interessante articolo sul CBS Special di A New Day Has Come:

LOS ANGELES -- Who'd have thought I'd get a first-hand demonstration in the difference between fantasy and reality at a Celine Dion concert?But there I was, on March 3 at Kodak Theater, the brand new opera house-like home of the Oscars, nestled into my seat 13 rows from the floor during the taping of Dion's TV concert special, Celine Dion: A New Day Has Come. It airs tonight on CBS and CBC at 8 with special guests Destiny's Child and Brian McKnight.

 

A West Coast friend and I got tickets after I discovered, via a tiny article in the L.A. Times, that Dion was in town while I was covering the Grammy Awards.

 

Turns out she had sold a limited number of seats to the public at $20 US, and the rest were filled by invited guests -- among the famous faces were Jon Voight, Lara Flynn Boyle and Paul Reiser -- contest winners, media types and even seat fillers.

 

So, without further ado, here's the lowdown on the differences between what I experienced that night and what actually ended up on a rough cut of the special I previewed.

RUNNING TIME --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

FANTASY: The special runs one hour.

 

REALITY: We got to the Kodak at 7 p.m. to pick up our tickets and didn't leave until the taping, which ran from 8:15 until 10:15 p.m., finished.

COSTUME CHANGES --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

REALITY: Dion exited the stage for three outfit changes and fretted out loud about one dress in particular that threatened to do to her what Sharon Stone's outfit did in Basic Instinct.

 

FANTASY: Her concerns didn't make it into the special although there's one funny bit where she points and screams: "Oh, look over there!" before taking a seat at the edge of the stage.

BREAKS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

REALITY: Whenever Dion left the stage, the crowd inside the Kodak was treated to some of her old videos shown on a large screen. A sweeper also came on stage and got a big round of applause for his efforts.

 

FANTASY: There are no breaks, except for commercials, although some interview segues were added in post production, during which Dion talks about everything from her family having no money to go to the movies when she was a kid to her hesitation to fly to New York post 9-11 to be part of the America: Tribute To Heroes live broadcast. "It was difficult and it was hard, but it was a responsibility and I'm sure glad I did it," she says.

AUDIENCE APPRECIATION --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

FANTASY: Most people listened intently whenever Dion opened her mouth to sing, some even joining in and clapped along. There's even a shot of a couple near the front being serenaded by Dion during Have You Ever Been In Love.

 

REALITY: One of the producers got on the stage before taping began and encouraged everyone in the crowd to show their appreciation. Unfortunately, one young couple in front of me understood that to mean 'of each other' and their marathon necking sessions bordered on horrific. A much nicer scene occurred when one enthusiastic young man in the front row was invited up to the stage by Dion and given an impromptu hug by the singer.

BANTER --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

REALITY: Maybe it was because she was admittedly nervous, but Dion did tend to go on a bit between songs.

 

FANTASY: The producers, to their credit, kept some of that chatter in the special, including the bawdy reference to her son Rene-Charles -- "He still s---s on me!" -- and it comes across way more natural than some of Dion's stilted song intros read off a teleprompter.

OPENING & CLOSING --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

Remarkably these remain the same. Dion began with A New Day Has Come and closed with a cover of Nature Boy. The only difference was she got so emotional during the latter she had to do the intro four times before she got it right. Naturally, only one take made it onto the special.

SONGS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

REALITY: Dion belted out 14 songs, including one -- Have You Ever Been In Love -- twice due to a technical glitch.

 

FANTASY: Only 10 songs -- A New Day Has Come, I'm Alive, Because You Loved Me, Beauty & The Beast, My Heart Will Go On, Have You Ever Been In Love, Emotion, When The Wrong One Loves You Right, At Last and Nature Boy -- made it into the special, and in a different order.

non è che ho capito molto di quello che sta scritto cmq... effettivamente all'appello manca solo la performance di Ten Days perchè un canale tedesco se non vado errato mandò in onda lo special a new day has come con le performances mancanti in quello della CBS, ti ricordi lele tu lo facesti registrare da tuo zio e poi mi dovevi passare la vhs (solo non ricordo la fecero vedere anche quella di aun existe amor?)

goodbyes and aun existe amor sono stati messi in onda dalla versione tedesca dello special andato su ZDF queste 2 performance nn sono state mostrate neppure dalla CBS

 

Da quello che ho capito ogni paese aveva la versione integrale di quella notte e la mandava tagliata sec i propri gusti o tempi da rispettare:esempio quella italiana aveva certe inquadrature di pubblico che quella usa non aveva

ricordavo bene... sarebbe bello poter fare una specie di collage fra le varie versioni per poter avere lo special il + completo possibile... io per esempio ho sottomano la versione della CBS divisa in 2 parti ma ovviamente non ci sono ne Goodbye's ne Aun Exsiste Amor...

 

che poi fra l'altro se non sbaglio nella versione tedesca non c'era molto "parlato" di Céline... ricordo che scarikai un'altra versione dello special che aveva la performance di goodbye's però avevano tagliato tutto il parlato...mandarono in onda solo le canzoni... ed era un pò "monotono" cavolo è uno special... non un concerto... ed anche se lo fosse stato nei concerti il cantante parla... non canta solo

mah lele una volta enzo mi faceva notare che forse al world children day era una esibizione live, e infatti se ci fai caso poco prima di cantare la inquadrano e lei si sistema gli auiricolari... cmq resta un mistero quell'esibizione

Ragazzi mi sono appena scaricato tutto lo special!!!

 

È decisamente bellissimo!! Celine ha una voce perfetta! MHWGO, ANDHC (la migliore interpretazione - quasi versione studio, BYLM, At last, Nature boy, I'm Alive, WTWOLYR e Emotions con le Destiny's child!

 

Celire era bellissima ed inoltre ha cantato benissimo! At last sembrava playback da come l'ha fatta alla perfezione! Se A New Day Live in LV fosse stato così ben cantato...

Ci sono canzoni non proprio così perfette come Because You Loved Me e Et Je T'aime Encore! Perfette in proporzione a come ha cantato al Kodak, intendo!
