Over the past 2 weeks I have been very moody about not being able to go. Fighting with people, saying things I reget. Love the fact being able to follow it all but hate it at the same time. I'm really ashamed of my behaviour and, if I cause any afence. I'm deeply sorry. I know i will get there, maybe not til next year. Still trying me best for this year Quote GENNI B.

angelil78 Posted March 27, 2011 at 08:47 PM Posted March 27, 2011 at 08:47 PM Ohhh yeah!! Depression true! I had tears in my eyes leaving Las Vegas. Felt like I was leaving some great people and Céline. This was a wonderful trip. The only regret is that I would have liked to spend more time with the Forum people. It was fantastic to see everyone, everyone was so nice and it was fun to meet people that share the same interrest. I felt so "alive" with you guys. I went to a Bon Jovi concert in Las Vegas and the entire time I was thinking: Wow I miss my people, the people I belong with, I do not belong with the Bon Jovi fans. On March 15th with the fan meeting, flash mob.. that was a HOT day for the Icelandic girl, it was difficult, I am not used to weather like that. My face was problably red the entire day haha but it was so worth it, being with you, seeing the interviews, dancing (or trying to dance) and I didn't want the day to end. My mom was a great photographer that day and took a LOT of photos that I'm gonna post somewhere for you. I hope we will have a meeting again, somewhere in the world. Don't know if I'll make it to Las Vegas for the 4th time but I hope so. Thank you all! Quote
rome Posted March 28, 2011 at 06:33 AM Posted March 28, 2011 at 06:33 AM TOTALLY! depression 200%! I just arrived in L.A. and I'm gonna be here for one full day, on tuesday I'm going back to vegas, but only for a few hours since i'm only going back to catch my plane back to miami and then back to peru... it sucks! last night i was at the hotel packing, and i look out the window and i see the strip, and i started crying. i didn't wanna leave. it was the perfect week. wednesday and friday were the most amazing moments of my life. On wednesday, i went to see celine, and it was as if i was seeing her live for the very first time. i swear i was shaking the entire show, and then she walked down the aisle and sang beside me for like 2 minutes and then she held my hand for like 2 seconds, and i couldn't believe it, i started crying. After all these years of traveling halfway across the world to see her, i FINALLY got into some actual contact with the woman. and then after the show i met elise and got to talk to her for like 5 minutes, it was the most perfect night ever! And then on friday i went to see Gaga for the very first time at the MGM grand arena and i was right there, at the front row, and i met the most amazing people ever and the concert was so epic i can't even describe it. those two days feel so much like a dream now... i can't believe they actually happened. and now i'm super depressed i'm not even really enjoying L.A. as much as i usually do... i've always had post vegas depression, even the last 3 years i went and celine was not there, i mean, god only knows how much i love that city, of course the depression wasn't as deep as when celine was there for 'a new day...', but i was still depressed... but now, the fact that i cried last night and that i feel like crying right now is a sign that i'm way more depressed now, even more than during the 'a new day' years... i guess is the fact this time my week there meant seeing gaga and, most importantly, seeing celine in a show in which she's the total center of attention, in which her voice sounds better than ever and in which i happened to experience the best 2 seconds ever... if i could i would go there, find a job, stay there and go see celine at least twice a month... Dionesque Posted March 29, 2011 at 05:50 PM Posted March 29, 2011 at 05:50 PM I'm finally back on board, slowly-slowly though, lol... Don't know if depression is a good word, it sounds kinda scary but I deffinitely was/am bummed that that amazing experience is now over and absolutely have to go back to Vegas, see Céline again and meet YOU all again!!! That's a must! Would love to do it next year already but if that won't be possible than at least somewhen during this 3-years-run. I keep listening to all my recordings almost every evening before going to sleep and it's feels so good to bring back memories each time this way but it's never the same as the real thing! As some of you already know, I got sick in Vegas, I already had fever (38°C) during the fan meeting at Imperial Palace, it stayed this way the entire day and next day (the 16th) I even got 38°C in the evening during the 2nd show so it quite sucked but I cured myself with some Margheritas, lol, and I must say I still really enjoyed the shows and all the fan activities that I was able to take part in!! Fortunately, thanks to painkillers, I was able to sleep during most of my flight home but this long journey actually added a lot to my sickness and tireness so I was like dead when I finally reached home on the evening of March 18th... I slept almost constantly for the first few days and I suffered of nasty dry caugh, headaches and running nose... Finally it's getting better now so I'm able to resume my online activities - I missed the forum! One of the great highlights was meeting with soooo many lovely fans, some of whom I already met in the past (during world tour etc.) and some that I've met in Vegas for the very first time! The only thing I regret is that there were still sooo many people that I've wanted to meet but somehow missed them... For example JP, ThisTime, Hellmeister, Lizzy and a lot of others that I know must have been there... Maybe it was just too short time for meeting so many people? LOL! We deffinitely have to repeat such event one day and get at least like what? 4 hours? For the meet&greet/ice-breakers or whatever you call it - a meeting like the one in the Pearl Room where we could just chat with each other, take pictures and have fun! The lunch at PH was great (and yummy!) but as we have also to eat there, lol, the possibilities to go around and chat with people were limited, lol. I'm sure I don't remember all names of people who I've been talking to but just to name those few that got stuck in my mind (and on my flash card in my camera, lol), it was amazing and my huge privilegue and pleasure to meet (in no particular order): Koolan & Bellamy (although we hardly got to chat, what a miss... ), Salla, Elina, SuperLove4Celine, Alex_Incognito, Tyler1991, Jimena & Liz (it was such fun with you 2 in Grand Canyon!), Lindsey & Mom, Davey84, J-Man, (Cheerful)Jane, Kim from Holland, Renato & Enzo, Ester from Iceland, Suus (Yentl_Anchel), Cindy, Mathias, Estevam, Natasza, Tracey (nuts2you), Tracy & Kimberly, Stijn, Chelsey, Tam vel Heidi, Ramona, Nikola (Der_Griffon), Olivier from Belgium (dunno if he's member here though?), Viva_Las_Vegas, the 2 nice Belgians who shared our table at PH (father & daughter, I have troubles remembering your nickname, lol), Carla (and the other US girls), Joey... I'm sure I would have been meeting many more of you if my possibilities weren't limited due to handicap but as I said: there must be a next time so I'm not sad, just waiting for that new opportunity to come! I have about 500 photos, don't know when I'll get to sort them out and post somewhere (probably on Facebook) but I'll let you know when I'll come to that. I have 3 full show audio bootlegs, they are of similair very good quality as my world tour bootlegs so if there's a demand, I can post them here when I'll get to edit and tag them. So just let me know whether you're interested. Claudette Posted March 29, 2011 at 07:01 PM Posted March 29, 2011 at 07:01 PM The hardest part for me at the moment is knowing that I might not have any Celine to look forward to for a while. It is always great to look forward to it, and then within a few hours everything that you've been getting exiting about for months is over. But I discovered this huge competition on the radio yesterday and they are giving tickets away to see and meet Celine. I'm like entering 20 times a day. Dionesque Posted March 29, 2011 at 08:04 PM Posted March 29, 2011 at 08:04 PM (edited) Aww, thank you for your nice words, Alex & Simon! Simon, is it you who just sent me a Facebook friend request?? I really get stuck with tons of friend requests on Facebook in past few months but the problem is that I don't know the people who send me these (or at least I don't know their real names, maybe a lot of them are from here?). That's why at this place I would really like to ask people to add a short message when sending a friend request! When you say who you are, your forum nickname or where else you may know me from, that would make things so much easier!! Unfortunately I leave most of such "mysterious" friend requests unreplied (neither accepted nor denied) as I don't feel comfortable about accepting "unknown" people and asking everyone where she/he knows me from is a pain as well... So just so you know for the future... Claudette, that's a pity it's only for SA residents but than I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that all these sms's will pay off for you!! I'm sorry that you've had to suffer from asthma in Vegas. For me, it was "only" high fever and hence some annoying headaches. The coughing and running nose started when I already was back in Germany. Unfortunately the cold weather hear doesn't support healing from viruses and bugs... I wished I'd have some more free space in my backpack so I could have taken some of that wonderful Vegas sun with me to Germany, lol...
