disadiva Posted March 13, 2011 at 09:31 PM Posted March 13, 2011 at 09:31 PM (edited) I am born in the 70's and then we had divas like Barbra Streisand' Donna Summer' Irene Cara to name a few.But in the begingin of 1980 Sheena Easton from Scotland came with a storm. With her hits" For Your eyes Only (James Bond)' 9-5' Modern Girl' Telephone' Strut' and her work with Prince.Sheena has a glass shattering voice and she can reach to the top of her crystallic Soprano. In 1986 she starred in Miami Vice as Caitlin' with Don Johnson as Sonny andthey got married and she was a popsinger that he was protecting. The song Follow My rainbow was sung in the series just before hercharacter was killed. Sheena also worked with Babyface and L.A reid on her 1989 album Lover In Me.one of my favorit albums with her.She also did few lack albums but with some nice songs'that showed off her vocalrange. My Cherie is one of those albums from 1995' and is heavily producedby David Foster. Sheena did sing some animated film songs also.Like the David Foster track A Dream Worth keeping FromFerncully The Rainforrest 1993.And she also sang few songs from All Dogs Goes to Heaven1-2. Our Celine has covered songs that Sheena had done before herin 1984 like "Last To Know and Please Don´t Sympatize=Ne Me Plaignez Pasin french that Celine recorded in her teens. Celine also did cover Another Sheena song from her Unison era.Don´t quite remember the name of it but i think it is If there was any other way. What do you Celine fans think of Sheena Easton. JasonFromTheMoon Posted April 3, 2011 at 09:36 PM Posted April 3, 2011 at 09:36 PM Sheena's very good singer, I don't know what actually happened with her (cheap Vegas show was the last thing I heard about her). I especially like her dramatic ballads like "Love Will Make You Wise", "Dance Away The Blues", "One Man", "Flower In The Rain", "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and "Please Don't Be Scared". "The Last To Know" is good too, but Celine's version is LIGHT YEARS better (it's one of my favorite songs on Unison!). Quote Welcome to the "Loved Me Back To Life" era!http://s10.postimg.org/j8wfwy3ah/Fotor0101825542.jpg
