I think it shows with this girl, who is very talented anyway and I always wanted her to go far but now I really do, that she reeeeally loves her. But it's just an automaton singing according to its software programming, hitting the right notes. No emotion whatsoever. I think that most people who take part of these talent shows totally have no clue of what music and singing is about, they think it's only about endless rehearsals, copying singing styles of existing artists and smiling in the camera. I mean nobody can do it better than Céline, but at least she didn't butcher the song. I'm also glad they kept the arrangement pretty close to the real one, because I think that's what screwed over a lot of the other contestants. Especially Smile.
