What do you think? I did not like and it seems that Alsou was not enough force to vote. And I was very upset because almost everyone thought that this song Alsou. Yes, to my great regret in my country, few real fans of Celine ...

Vocally, it's nothing close to Celine's versions.

 

But, I think this version suits more to the song. She sang it the proper way. I really liked it ^^.

Celine's version really reaches you and gives you goosebumps.. but this.. it is not bad but it does not reach me. And she doesn't have a belting voice like Celine, her voice does not have that. So, it is not bad but not spectacular either, at least to me.

It's lipped and her voice is just blah. Side note whoever did her make up needs to go back to the red light district.

She totally avoided all the difficult belts. Her rendition wasn't bad but it was quite bland and boring IMO.

 

Helene Fischer, a German singer, also avoided the difficult belts and totally missed the sustained high note at the end of the song but I must admit I prefer her version over Alsou's :

Alsou version is not bad, but her voice is not the best for this song, I miss "power" in her singing, Helene´s Fischer version is better, her voice sounds better for TPOL.

I loved it; There're different arrangements for the song; it sounds more 2011 Fresh, moderne and less ear-poppin' like Celine's version; there's a more feminine touch to it and you don't feel you have to plug your ears at the end of the song. The song is about love and her performance means it; sometimes when Celine hits the high note at the end L....OOOOOOVE, I think to myself: "Does she really mean love or is it more like LOOKK at MEEE I can belt a high note". This singer has no pretention to be Celine and she gives much more truth to the song than Celine ever did in her entire career.

I actually liked Alsou's version. It's definitely not as powerful as Celine's but it's good. Helene's voice seems to be a lot like Celine's but I didn't like her. Rosana's version is very interesting but I prefer Marina's. Her voice sounds better to me.
