I've had to work (on the strip) the past few NYEs, and Vegas is definitely packed!! Hotel prices get ridiculous, they close the strip down, and after a certain point, hotels won't even let people in who don't have room keys/show tickets. I have to show ID just to get into our employee parking garage the MORNING of new years eve... I guess getting parking is that cut-throat that day! haha. It's also been really cold the last couple years. I think it was in the 20s at midnight this year... but the weeks leading up to and after New Years always seem to have better weather, so it has the potential to be ok! That said, I'm definitely planning to get a ticket for the NYE show!! Quote facebook / twitter

I was on vacation in Vegas for a few days and I didn't know she was coming back on Wed. There was no sign of her arrival when I left at noon. But I was leaving the casino and I went by the back entrance of the Colosseum and the doors were open and they were taking in some wooden stage sets. I could see inside and I saw a beautiful red curtain and they were raising up an exquisite chandelier that will be part of the show. The chandelier was made of gorgeous crystals that hung down in many strands probably 20 or 30 feet long. I was so excited to see a little preview of the set for the show!! I can't wait to see that chandelier when I see the show!! Quote CelineFanatic
