(iPod's are probably the best name in mp3 players right now) These are just a few examples. Personally, I don't have much of a problem sticking with non-name brand. I would go t Old Navy to get my jeans and shirts For the most part, I'm a bargain shopper, wait until the end of the season for some hot deals like $10 sweaters from American Eagle. On the other hand, I must have an iPod because it's so cool and hip even though I'm sacrificing extra features such as voice recording and FM tuner that are available on other players. I don't think I should spend A LOT of money on clothes when I can say this money to do something interesting, like buying a new computer because mine sucks, or just travel to a nearby island.Now I'm saving for my graduation trip, in 3 years, probably going to NY. VanMerlin Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 I go with how it looks on me, and the price compared to quality. Heck, I go to second-hand stores and vintage shops. Besides, I HATE trends. I consciously avoid anything that looks remotely trendy, and that is all to which name-brands cater. And WalMart is as trendy as them all...and crap. Everything I buy from there is of dismal quality - I can't count the number of times I've had to visit the return desk. Why pay for a name when you can get as much quality next door? Quote
