She sang L'amour est enfant de boheme and If you asked me to. My grandparents were in the audience! *Also in 1992, she sang Beauty and the Beast at a TV Show called Noite de Estrelas. Unfortunately, the video seems to be impossible to find. The performance was broadcasted a few months ago on Spanish TV.*In 2002, she came to Spain again during the promo tour for the album A new day has come. She gave an amazing press conference and visited twice a then-famous music TV show called Música Sí. The first time, she sang A new day has come and, one week later, she visited the show again to take part in a revealing interview with the hosts of the show and performed At last, I'm alive and A new day has come.During that visit to my country she also participated in a few radio shows.*Then in 2007, during the promo tour for Taking chances, she gave us such a wonderful but short interview that was broadcasted in the news. Unfortunately, some visits that she had scheduled to my country had to be cancelled due to some reasons: *She had to cancel her concert in 1998 (which was suppoused to be a part of the Let's talk about love World tour) because of René's health.*Then in 2008, due to a few problems with the sponsors, her shows in my country (this time part of the Taking chances World tour) had to be cancelled again. I've been waiting for sooooo long.... for the miracle to come.... and finally, after 15 years of me being her fan, she come to perform in my home country (Poland) and even did that extra event: the unveiling of her star! Actually she was rumoured to be in Poland somewhen in the mid 90s to buy horses but it was only stated in a tabloid so who knows whether she actually ever did that, lol. Than in 1999 it was almost sure that she'll attend our biggest Polish music festival at Baltic Sea side in August of 1999 but eventually due to some disagreements her visit was cancelled and we've got Whitney Houston as the main foreign act instead. At the beginning I was very sad, than I thought: well ok, Whitney has some nice music too, it's always better than some stupid boyband or other one-hit-wonder. But when Whitney finally got on stage on that festival, she pulled an absolutely horrific show, it was really a disastair! She couldn't really sing live back than already and she looked like she were rushing to that show right out from her bed, without really doing anything to her appearance - she looked bad, her clothes and hair were a mess... It was simply sad and pitiful to look at and there was not much to listen to either. I remember I was crying out of anger that night as I had in mind that actually it should have been Céline out on that stage! OK, just thought to share this little story with ya.
