celinecolombian Posted February 4, 2011 at 04:24 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 04:24 PM I like Aun Existe Amor, but not really a big fan of that spanish version. Even being colombian and spanish talking. L'amour Existe Encore is faaaar better, I really love that version and even more the live one on A'olympia CD Quote
Céline74 Posted February 4, 2011 at 05:13 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 05:13 PM "L'amour Existe Encore" of course, you can't beat that version, her french lyrics are so amazing and it's one of the best french songs she has ever sang in my opinion! luislovesceline Posted February 4, 2011 at 08:03 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 08:03 PM The french version is much better. Quote
duri Posted February 4, 2011 at 08:03 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 08:03 PM L´amour existe encore is better (lyrics are really amazing), but spanish version is also good, it was nice to hear (after years) diffrent version of this beautiful song. Sofie Posted February 4, 2011 at 09:29 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 09:29 PM (edited) I prefer the French version but they're both beautiful. And here's a translation of Dans un autre monde: In another world Far, far, that was sure Like an huge hungry, an animal instinct Oh, leaving, leaving and go farther Abandoning everything, leaving everything, to meet up a destiny Bye bye, but I have to leave Goodbye tender years, hi battle zones And smelling, oh smelling and letting the dogs free There are too many trains passing by, this train is mine And too bad for me, and too bad for us I could have stayed where the wheel turns, where everything is soft Me I didn't have the choice, it was hitting everywhere The world is at your door and is making fun of the locks Rendez-vous in another world or in another life When the nights will be longer longer than my nights And dying, dying, but of living and of desire Rendez-vous when I will have eaten my appetites Handsome, handsome from bottom up I would like to eat up his skin I would like to drink his words But too late, or gof, or way too late That was the good story but not the good tempo Bye bye, I have to leave A cross over his lips and my life falls apart And giving to ourselves and suffer and falling from high And goind down and going down on the tile And too bad for me, and too bad for him I could wait for him here, nothing is forgotten everything is gray But I didn't have any choice, it was hitting too The world is at your door and you thank him Rendez-vous in another world or in another life When the nights will be longer longer than my nights An dying, oh dying, but of living and of desires Rendez-vous when I will have eaten all my appetites Rendez-vous in another world or in another life Another chance, a second and too bad for this one And laughing enough to die, but laughing today Rendez-vous somewhere between elsewhere and the infinity Rendez-vous when I will have eaten my appetites Rendez-vous somewhere between elsewhere and the infinity The world is at your door and you thank him Rendez-vous in another world or in another life Another chance, a second one and too bad for this one And laughing enough to die, but laughing today Ticket for a meeting, date for paradise And laughing enough to die but laughing today To the pleasure to later and later is so cute In this site you can find translations to all Céline's songs. Javito Posted February 4, 2011 at 09:31 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 09:31 PM Both are great versions. If you ask me for the album versions, I think the spanish one is better because of the arrangements. But the french version is amazing in its live versions of 1994 and 1996 And personally, the adaptation of Aún Existe Amor was much better than what they did for Sola Otra Vez. Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Toni85 Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:47 PM Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:47 PM Love the Spanish one Quote

celinemaniacaik Posted February 5, 2011 at 07:28 AM Author Posted February 5, 2011 at 07:28 AM The reason I like de spanish version more, is that I think it has more tempo and de back ground vocalist just bring de whole song to life, also Celine's high notes r AMAZING!!!!!! I like de French version aswell but i prefer de spanish 1 more plus I knw de lyrics 2 de spanish 1 so I can sing along 2 dat 1 Quote http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwk66t4rhm1r2j3uro1_500.jpg Follow Me On TUMBLR: Celinedion4ever

RomualdlovesCeline Posted February 6, 2011 at 12:19 AM Posted February 6, 2011 at 12:19 AM (edited) I never listened to the spanish version of l'Amour Existe Encore. I hate when Celine translate French songs to any other language; I like the songs in their original versions because the meaning and the power of the song is x10 better than the one translated; the same goes for I don't know and If that's what it takes; those 2 are just pale copies of PQTME and JSP. and BTW, it's about time people learn French to understand the meaning of Celine's French song; I don't see why all people should learn English but not French; trust me French is 10times better than English or Spanish because it's a more subtle and deep language than the 2 other languages IMO Edited February 6, 2011 at 12:23 AM by RomualdlovesCeline Quote

She puts her wholeself into her french songs and that's what makes her unique in my opinion! Plus french is such a romantic language, some fans really should take some time to learn this beautiful language.
