"Céline": 70 Shows Within 17 Weeks

35 weeks of vacation, waiting for RC to come back from school and raising & playing with Eddy and Nelson all day??

 

Yeah, she deserves it. If thats what she wants the most.

 

But i don't see her doing that. She still have the flame of Showbusiness burning inside her. I think René has more than Vegas planned for her.

 

Maybe producing more albums, more time to promote albums, performing more in TV specials, give special concerts all over the world?

 

Any ideas of what she could possibly do? Or do you really think she will be a Stay-At-Home mom for 35 weeks for 3 years in a row?

Im not sure what she will do with her vacation from the show, but no one would blame her if she chose to stay at home for the whole time. She could possibly be a stay at home mum for 3 years, and then when Vegas is over make a comeback and make more music etc, but for now I see her doing a few small projects during her vacation, but nothing big

She originally said she'd be planning her Vegas show around RCs school calander, so I figure she'll be hangin with the family along with doing whatever she needs for her upcoming English & French albums.

I think this will be an awesome schedule for her. She'll get to relax her vocals more often and not sound so nasal after a few months of performing. And she'll get to spend plenty of time with the family at her mini water park

I meant vacation and/or SAHM. I know they are completly different things. My sister is a SAHM and its a full time job, certainly not a vacation.

 

 

Edit: yeah relax her vocals as she used to in 90's, that's also important. Maby more vocal training and learning, like she said her interview with Julie.

With Celine you never know. She always does things that you never would have expected (take the TC tour for example). So only time will tell.

New born babies need their parents definately. This is what Celine wants for her twins I think. She might be at a point that it would be better to be more active in the music show business but being a mother is the most important role according to her. So for the first 4 years of the twins she decided to be as much next to them as she can. And after the 3 years in Vegas she will probably do more years, or go for a world tour and come back to Vegas again...and again...

Im sure she will spend the majority of the break with the twins/family... But i am also positive she will be working on her English album during the Vegas show and on her break

I agree with the previous posts, she will probably be at home with her family. At least for the first year, with Eddy and Nelson being so small. There may be certain things she'll have to do, like recording an album here and there, but nothing too big I think.

People act like having twins is the same thing as escaping from Alcatraz . It's still now to her, yes, but eventually she'll branch out and do other things. They're babies she had, she's not taking care of nuclear weapons.

I counted everything:

 

The shows that have been announced are from March to August (without May) 54 shows within 13 weeks.

 

If she really performes only 70 shows/yr like she and René mentionned, then 16 more shows haven't been announced yet, which will be performed within 4 weeks.

 

13 wks +4 wks =17 Wks

 

4 shows/week (sometimes 3-5 shows/week)

I can truely imagine she wants to spend a lot of time with her family, with the babies!

Just think of it: when RC was born it took over one year until she wen't back into public. Within that year she only appeared in public on a very few occasions as a singer (Tribute to Heroes, Québec for NYC) and I suppose ig it wasn't for 9/11, she wouldn't appear in public as a singer at all.

 

Now, with these new babies she'll be back in business in March already which means only about half a year after their birth!

 

And as for the first break for Vegas, well, we may already know more or less that she'll be spending some part of it in Europe (and maybe in Québec?). I wouldn't wander if she'd like to use the rest of that break for some family holidays or such.

 

And in the past she used to complain that she has way too less occasions to see all her siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews etc. so she'll surely have more time for that as well with this new Vegas shedule.

^My mother says she can't dance and that she'll get eliminated the first week (not if we vote like maniacs though). I'd like to see her there. She obviously enjoys dancing!

 

For the time that she has at home, I'm sure she's going to have more than enough. It's what she loves, so that's great! She's been doing it for like what, the past year and a half, two years with RC so, I'm sure that with the twins, that's going to be it. Plus, she enjoys it so much!

of course she'll spend all her free time with her family...now she has 3 children..and the twins take her so much time away..then she has always said that being a mother is the better job for her!!i'm just surprised that she will make these 70 shows so soon after the twins' birth and that maybe a new french album will come out in the next months!!!

I agree. Also, DWTS is for celebrities who used to be famous, or have lost their star power. Celine certainly isn't one of them.

I already said what I think about this subject.

 

I just wanted to add that I hope she will spend as much quality family time as she wants and so that, after these few years to come, she will become "hungry" of music and will get back into it with real passion! Not forced by contracts/record company/fans expectations but just for the sake of simply enjoying making music and singing to bits! That may effect with some marvelous new stuff from her!

And as for that, I can easily be patient and wait as it would be deffinitely be worth any waiting!
