Omg, wow... I need to see this. Even though her voice was terrible that day (based off TPOL), I'm sure it still is 10x better than any performance she has done of that song from 1994-now.

 

Edit: This was in 1994. Shall be interesting if it is good then or not. IMO every performance of this beginning with Olympia has been a #fail....well this was closer in time to the recording of TCOML concert than it was Olympia (I think), so maybe it's not too bad!

Tyler, I think it is because people are getting tired of your posts always being about playback, high notes and the quality of Celines vocals. I don't know, you are sometimes so technical and serious. Most people are here because they enjoy Celine's music and they don't always care about all that technical details soooooo much.

Nobody said you are less of a fan. If the playback issue and the vocal stuff floats your boat, then good for you. I'm just saying that you can't blame people if they get annoyed with that type of posts, since it can be a sensitive issue.

Those who dare to say they don't like a certain song (even if I don't agree) are far more interesting and fun to read than those who say they love everything even the material that is really terrible. And to be honest I think it is a better fan who says "I like this" when he or she likes what he/she hears and dares to be critical when there's something he/she don't like or don't approve of.

 

Gee, what's the point in being an artist if the audience likes EVERYTHING you perform, even something you put no effort into? Wouldn't it be confusing and kind of a downer that you can't create something really special from time to time since whatever you do is praised. Where's the adventure in that? Where's the challenge, the creativity? And looking at Céline's work the past ten years I can clearly say she's surrounded with people who nods at everything she does.

 

 

EDIT: And for the record I do like LCMM. I think it's a good fun song. However in desperate need of new arrangements and new sound (its sound was outdated almost before it was recorded). The song is cool but the way it is presented (arrangements, instruments, sound etc) is everything but cool, it actually makes you want to sink down into the chair and go "oooh Célineeee....".

I think the same, I think if we want to complain about something, here is the best place to do that, cause here is full of lovers of Celine and it doesn't make her look bad, you know what I mean, think you are a fan but u have a complain about something she has done, if you say it among Celine haters or the ones who don't care, what will they say?

they say oh she is bad or this and that. but among fans when u complain they won't say Celine can't sing, they will protect her or they will say it was a mistake.

 

so I think if someone don't like something, it is better if other fans let him talk about it here among fans,
