I Love You Posted January 9, 2011 at 03:45 AM Posted January 9, 2011 at 03:45 AM I think we should just leave that to her. Don't get me wrong here, I care about how she's feeling so much but if she doesn't want to say more about it, maybe it's for a reason. Quote
Jacqui Posted January 9, 2011 at 04:40 AM Posted January 9, 2011 at 04:40 AM Ok I'm not try to prove Celine had ppd what she was describing could just be hormonal and emotional I don't know. I'm not a doctor and I'm not trying to be, all i was saying was it could be ppd not that it is or was or anything else. I just thought it might be based on what she said and what I knew about ppd. I just thought it was because it's not unheard of in women after having a baby or in her case babies. I wasn't intending to start a debate. I just stated my own opinion on it. I'm no expert so what do I know? I could be totally wrong, again it's just my impression an opinion. I wasn't saying just because she felt lifeless or had mood swings or didn't want to eat automatically meant she had ppd. Its just a couple common ppd symptoms is the only reason I mentioned it. I'm starting to wish I hadn't now and just kept the thought to myself. Just for the record, I wasn't referring to what you said. The media is reporting that Celine has PPD. That's what annoys me- not what you said. You're just concerned, so no need to wish you hadn't mentioned it. Quote
Belle Céline Posted January 9, 2011 at 04:57 AM Posted January 9, 2011 at 04:57 AM I just thought maybe that's what it was based on symptoms and what she described since what she described fit. I haven't been reading any of the reports in the media about her having PPD so I didn't know anyone was saying that's what she does or doesn't have. fred Posted January 9, 2011 at 09:49 PM Posted January 9, 2011 at 09:49 PM Swedish newspaper Expressen reported earlier today that Céline got depressed after giving birth to the twins. Celne Dion got a deep birth depression after the twin sons in October. She had no life spark some days. - One second you're happy and the next you cry for no reason, she tells in the French magazine Gala. In October the songstress Celine Dion, 42, gave birth to twin sons Nelson and Eddy by a cesarean. She and husband René Angelil, 68, had then tried having children with help of invitro for six years. The couple have son René-Charles, 9, since before. "No apatite"Now she reveals that she, like many other newly become mothers, experienced birth depression when they came home from the hospital in Florida.- I was besides myself. I had no apatite and it worried me.- My mother noticed that I had no life spark, but assured me that it is completely normal, says Dion in the magazine Gala.source: http://www.expressen.se/noje/extra/1.22839...r-forlossningen Didn't know about this. But I haven't read the thread about the birth either. Maybe you guys have mentioned it there. If so close this thread. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
J-Man Posted January 9, 2011 at 09:52 PM Posted January 9, 2011 at 09:52 PM This has already been mentioned in this topic: http://www.celinedionforum.com/rollingstonecom-t47497.html And it isn't really depression, it's been blown all out of proportion. Don't worry. Quote http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

C_Airin_D Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:16 PM Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:16 PM (edited) I agree with Jacqui, people are taking things from the articles in ''Hello'' and ''Gala'' out of context to create drama. And I have absolutely no respect for ''Rollingstone''. They hate Celine, so why should anybody care what they write about her? I mean they didn't write anything about her geting pregnant or the birth, but the feel the need to report on this. Absolutely agreed! It reminds me of one artickle in а bulgarian newspaper..it was: "Celine Dion's third baby died! She is in depression! " That was really awful! J-Man Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:26 PM Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:26 PM (edited) Yes, please close/merge this topic. And at the very least change the title. No offence Fred, but it's too sensationalist. There is no evidence that Celine has any form of any depression at all!! (unless she has been reading the "How about a Justin Bieber duet" topic) Edited January 9, 2011 at 11:30 PM by J-Man Quote http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

jessx Posted January 10, 2011 at 12:01 AM Posted January 10, 2011 at 12:01 AM does anybody have the gala interview in English? By the way, I'd be dpressed too if every magazine was saying I had PPD. I wish they'd leave the poor woman alone, and let her raise her children in peace! Still, I suppose that's not going to happen any time soon! I bet it's just her homones on a bit of a rollercoaster. After all, that couldn't have been the easiest pregnancy in the world! Quote

While it maybe not good for her health; it maybe good for her performance in her new Vegas show; she can go happy with "I love you" then she goes angry in "All by myself"; mood swings can help appreciate her performance Quote
Belle Céline Posted January 10, 2011 at 12:46 AM Posted January 10, 2011 at 12:46 AM I'm sure her emotions and mood will be back in check by Vegas lol. Quote “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
