Thanks for the info Julian. Darren was just talking about them needing to release the concert & or documentary to TV in advance of the Vegas show.

 

Annoying that they can release it to broadcast on an HD channel, but didn't think to release it on Blu-ray.

Hope someone (JP :D ) will cap it and those of us who don't have the French edition will be able to have it :w00t:

 

 

John, I think they will definitely release the BD sometime before the start of the show in March. It'll help with the promotion as well.

Even if the concert was aired on an HD channel; it will still be in Standard Definition.

On the channel Art [Canada] in HD, they aired the Live a Paris 1995 concert [VHS version which includes RDMH], the definition was poor and it was SD not HD.

 

EDIT: Amazingly they've recycled the "I'm going to do POPO in front everyone on stage" photo: :laugh:

You can read on their site that it is in HD! Live in Paris can't be aired in HD because it wasn't recorded in HD!

I hope JP can cap it... And i also hope that the CDF logo will not be that big :glare:

It's true though, it wasn't in the right order, plus, there were many songs that are on the DVD that weren't shown in the TV special...
