Luc Plamondon is celebrating 40 years of career by releasing a 4 CDs album. It includes 40 songs and 8 of them are from Céline. ^_^

 

 

Disc 1: Incognito, Lolita and Ziggy

Disc 2: Des Mots Qui Sonnent

Disc 3: Quelqu'un Que J'aime, Quelqu'un Qui M'Aime and Je Danse Dans Ma Tête,

Disc 4: L'amour Existe Encore and Le Monde Est Stone

He should have chosen Celine's version of : Oxygene, Le Fils de Superman, Piaf Chantait du Rock, and especially Les blues du Businessman. -_- Come on...

:w00t: Perrrrfect release! The selection of Céline songs is nice, though they missed Le Blues Du Businessman by Céline (and not Dubois?)

But i agree on Oxygène, it's a masterpiece! Too bad it aint on this collection of songs...

 

And Les Blues Du Businessman Live @ Olympia should have been a bonus track imo :whistling:

I also think Celine's versions of Piaf Chantait du Rock and Les blues du Businessman are better

They're talking about it a lot here. It's seems great. I'm just surprised that for songs like Ziggy, Quelqu'un que j'aime quelqu'un qui m'aimen and Le monde est stone, they took Céline's version instead of the original version from Starmania. I'm happy she's in there though! :heart:

Totally Davey! All the Plamondon songs Céline recorded were done brilliantly, and I think Luc would have loved to include all her record in the compilation :laugh: But it would have been unfair and embarrasing for the other singers!! (imagine the Disc 1 called simply "CELINE DION" and then Disc2, 3 and 4 :sofunny: )

 

The whole Olympia performances of Plamondon even beat the studio versions IMO. It must have been really hard to decide what Céline's songs to pick for this compilation! :yes:

this morning in the shower i kept singing "Mais au bouuuut du commmpte. On se rend compte. Qu'on est toujours tout seuuuul au monde. Toujours tout seuuuuuuul au moooooonnnnde."

 

Les uns contre les autres is such a great song performed by Celine. He left that one for Luce Dufault :ohno-smiley:

Exactly Jimena, its included in For Keeps! :thumbsup2: It's about RC and its called or it begins with something like "Mon petit prince" :)
