You have been collecting for longer then I've been alive. Kids in my class say that Celine is stupid and can't sing but I always defend her. And it's terrible that not a lot of kids my age like Celine. And I try to share Celine with them so they can hear her songs and her voice and understand her but they just never want to listen, they just don't understand real music. It's so sad that they'll never hear her angelic voice. She's the GREATEST singer this world will ever know and they just don't wanna hear her. Believe me, when Céline became huge back than in 1998 with the "Titanic", there were so many who hated or at least not appreciated her at all as well... People were telling stupid/rude stuff about her, especially concerning her look, oh well, but who cares? Like you, for me she's also the best in the world, the best in my ears and the best in my heart! And no bad-tongues will ever change it. When I was in primary school, I was a huge New Kids On The Block fan, back than in late 80s and early 90s. I love them so much and there were soooo many who said they were stupid, gay (yeah, that was an insult among kids in my school back then, lol, how stupid is that?!), couldn't sing or whatever... Other "big" bands back than in my school were Roxette, Guns'n'Roses and Metallica and it was like "normal" to tease each other around... Roxette fans spoke bad on NKOTB, Metallica fans lowed those of Roxette and so on... lol! Guess kids are like that, no matter what "era" they live in. Now I still like NKOTB but in the maanwhile I discovered that Ropxette, G'n'R and Metallica are pretty cool too, lol! So surely at least some of your classmates will once come to the point when they'll discover, that that Céline Dion girl is actually not that bad either and has an amazing voice indeed! You know, as a young teen I didn't liked Barbra Streisand at all and now... I love her! And if we'll be honest with ourselves, haven't we ever spoken a bad word on some other artists, on those we don't like? ;P Haven't you ever spoke bad about Mariah, Britney, Rihanna or whoever? So yeah, let them talk and stay faithful to your own taste and your own feelings.
