I would really like to know what you think of Van Halen

 

new album and tour next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

what van halen do you like more with david lee roth or with sammy hagar?

for me its about eddies composing. to my ear it seems he started getting "bored" after the third album. after that it sounded like he was going through the motions so to speak. it happens to lots of musicians. look at his situation though, he's making millions and who wouldnt continue that gig? even his sound became more "glossy". listen to the first album and compare it to any album after fair warning. what do you think?

Not a Van Halen person but I do like a couple of their songs. I think Sammy Hagar was a better lead singer than David Lee Roth for sure.

I make my personal charts since 1981, and Van Halen has had ten number 10 hits on it! But their biggest one, and the one I love the most is "Can't Stop Lovin' You", which hit number 2.

 

I don't like the Gary Cherone era BTW.
