The can ya hear me was only present in a few shows....and really it was only present in the DVD taping. The other few shows she did anything were just random high pitch noises (that were not words). I think the biggest difference is the choreo involved, specifically the twirling. Quote

She is a miracle voice in the fields of pop music. As for Tina Turner, I am not a great fan of her, but i have heard some of her music and i have to admit that she has a unique voice, much different than many other pop singers. No reason to compare her with Celine, as their voices are completely different. And do not forget that we all follow Celine in her 20-30-40 years old, but we see Tina at the age of 60-70 years old, at the end of her career. Celine's voice is more pure, more clear, stronger in a way I could say. Depends on the track they're singing and on the emotion they put.Please be realistic about what you admire. THis is a Celine Dion forum, and we all discuss, but not with shut eyes. She is unique in pop, she is the greatest of all singers of her time for me! But she is not the greatest singer in music. But my opinion is still same, in my reply I wrote about how fans should think in general (in my opinion), and then I talked especially about us, Celine Dion fans..In my opinion she did a great performance with the 'Simply the best'. She was amazing..amazing! As for the "river deep mountain high'', I understand some people who say that she destroyed the song, because it is sang in a completely different way, so maybe they are used to the original version. But to be honest, i still prefer Celine's. Quote

And the twirling just makes it pure perfection. I love Céline's version. I'm training on the twirling thing, we'll see how long it takes before I get as good as Céline...
