Celine in Oprah Quiz in US Weekly

There is a quiz in the new issue of US Weekly that is about all things Oprah and different things that have happened on the show over the past 25 years. One of the question is which celebrity has appeared on the show the most (26 times!)...the answer was Celine Dion!

 

Other people on the list were Chris Rock, Julia Roberts and someone else...

Apparently John Travolta was voted favorite guest who ever appeared on the Oprah show by Americans. Where was this forum when they were conducting the poll? Celine should have won hands down.

 

In comparison with other celebrities, Celine does appear quite often though.

 

In addition to what was stated above:

 

-Her appearance right before her hiatus

-In addition to the 50th birthday gala, on another episode Celine recorded another happy birthday message to Oprah.

-When Oprah was in Texas, this was when Celine did her Oprah debut of MHWGO.

-Don't forget the Miracle episode.

-Taking Chances episode.

 

I'm sure I'm missing some others, but as I said before, in relation to other guests, Celine has sure gotten a lot of airtime from Oprah...and it's with good reason since the episodes that Celine appears on usually have the highest ratings. Oprah has worked wonders for Celine's career and we should be very thankful that she and her producers have given such an open invitation to Celine over the years. There are thousands upon thousands of hopefuls that would literally sacrifice everything they have just so that Oprah would utter their name or product on the air.
