My daughter is singing it at the Washington Nationals baseball game in DC this Sunday, they are playing the Toronto team and my one daughter is singing our national anthem and the other the Canadian. I know Celine's versions is probally the best and I would love her to hear it. Thank You So Much Quote

DebbieY Posted June 22, 2005 at 10:54 PM Author Posted June 22, 2005 at 10:54 PM My daughter is singing for the Mets in July, so my husband called the Washington Nationals to see if they have any dates open and after sending them demos and pictures, they had a cancellation for this Sunday. We live in Virginia Beach area so it's only about a 4 hour trip. They are 23 and 18 yrs. old. The 23 yr. old is the one singing for the Mets. She did American Idol and made it to the second to last cut in LA, 70 out of 70,000 auditioned. The 18 yr. old has done numerous pageants and has just graduated HS. Their plan is to start singing together now in country music. They both have done the national anthem many times locally, but this is the first time for a pro team, very exciting.
