Song changes in A New Day

As I listen to Celine's older and newer music, I hear some really great songs. I think that it would be really cool if Celine would drastically change the song list for AND. I love the songs she sings now, but they hardly ever change. I'd like to hear songs like "If We Could Start Over", "Nothing Broken But My Heart", "Des Mots Qui Sonnent", "Misled", "Think Twice", "Cherche Encore", "J'attendais", "All By Myself", "I Don't Know/Je Sais Pas", "When I Need You", "On ne Change Pas", "Miles To Go Before I Sleep", "That's The Way It Is", "Goodbye's the Saddest Word", "Sorry For Love", "Forget Me Not", "One Heart", and "Ain't Gonna Look the Other Way". Would anyone else like to hear these songs in AND? Does anyone think it is possible that some may be added to the list later?

I would love for That's The Way It Is to be added. Also I would like for If I Could to be replaced with Miracle (or another song from that album). And I would like it if they added Where Does My Heart Beat Now too.

Would love it of some were include and that she changed the setlist some more (maybe at the end of year )..

Her voice sounds amazing as ever ... Everyone who saw her concert in person will agree with me. Anything she sings will sound amazing. We are talking about Céline Dion. Anything in her voice sounds good, especially now that she sings with the heart more than ever. If her fans don't believe in her voice anymore then who will?

 

I would only take out At last and put maybe Think twice.

Yeah it would be nice if they could change some of the songs. I think it's a little bit more difficult to change things since the Las Vegas show is so structured with all of the choreography and everything. they have slightly changed the show already. They took out "The First time ever I saw your face", "Nature Boy" and "Je t'aime encore." I forget what they replaced them with but the Live in Las Vegas CD had those songs on it and if you got to the current show those songs are gone. Sometimes they find that some songs may work better than others. She has such a large variety of songs to choose from but you have to remember there are some songs she probably has to sing for the "average" person going to her show, like "Titanic." Plus the show is only ninety minutes, so you can only put in so many songs. I like alot of her french songs, and she sings one or two at the show, but I don't think she'll ever have that more of those songs, at least while playing in the US. Hopefully when she is done with the Vegas show, at some point, she will do a regular tour, which will be different. But if she ever does a tour like that it would probably not be for awhile. I kind of wish they could run alternate shows every other week with different songs, but I think that's asking too much!

I agree with you. Her voice has gotten more nasel (sp?) recently but I think that is to be expected given that she doesn't spend as much time taking care of her voice now. She can't exactly go days without talking anymore. I think she sounds perfect now and she sounded perfect before as well. As Monica said, Celine sings with more heart now and you can feel the emotion she puts into her songs.

 

I know it shouldn't but it really gets to me when "fans" talk negatively about Celine and her voice. There are other Celine sites where I go on and think to myself "man, this can't be a Celine site, nobody here seems to like her". Me, I wouldn't waste my time claiming to be a fan and visiting fansites if I just wanted to talk bad about that celeb.

I would love her to SSDA, Live, TYLAM, The Greatest Reward, RDMH, Le Ballet (imagine a big shot of an instrumentalist on the screen that she do her vocal antics with) and others. A new song list would do her good, renew the energy, and keep the show really strong. They could release another live CD, which would be good for money. But it's a lot of work and they probably won't do much.

Actually I wouldn't mind hearing Celine sing "Let's talk about love" again.

That would do great in the show.

What about "Halfway to Heaven"...imagine the graphics on the LCD screen.

Wow. There's not many new songs I want to be included.

 

The only I want to change IS CELINE'S WARDROBE!!!!!

She's worn the same outfits for a year and a 1/2 now, not to mention

that Black/white suspenders that she's worn since March 2003!!!!!

 

I know her dresses are expensive, but for God sake...can we

see something different???

Couldn't agree more, fans are supposed to support.

Céline has the best voice in the world, even people who are not big fans like most of us here, they recognize this.

Céline is not a singing machine, a high notes robot. She sings so much with emotion. She really gets to your heart.

 

Refuse to dance on the show would be fantastic
