Has anyone ever used Skype? It's a free service that allows you to call other skype members from your computer, their pay service allows you to call any phone number for a very low price. Skype is like Kazaa/edonkey/emule but for chatting in real-time.

 

I signed up with Skype last year, must say that the voice quality is really clear, it could almost could be mistaken for a real phone. Even better is its ability to hold a conference of up to 5 people , file transfers and instant messenging also work.

there's Chinese version Skype too. called Tom-Skype. you find it from tom.com

I never do voice chats mostly because most of the time that I spend on the internet, I'm at work or it's very late and my sisters are sleeping.

But I used skype once, my boss installed here on this pc to make phone calls. And I had fun talking to my friend in Brazil but I never used it again.

Bellamy on Skype is me. I took it when Skype was still a betaware. I knew it has poteintial to be popular, so I regged my name years ago.

My boss has installed it in his computer and I saw him using it. The good thing about it is that you can call people from other countries and only pay local prices. Maybe I'll install it sometime...

Wow. That is sooooo cool. I wanna download it but how much does it cost to make a call? I probably don't have the money to do it but I really want it! Sounds really awesome!
