And with the price point, I know she is wanting something of quality, but....I would almost be able to buy a nice designer something at those prices and I would rather do that. Don't shoot me. I just don't see poeple, especially fans, paying that much for something from Celine. I would much rather buy a ticket to a show at Caesar's I don't understand her target market, I guess. BC the ppl that can afford to drop that on a watch are going to choose an established watchmaker, not Celine- it would seem so random. If she were expecting fans and the general public to buy them, I would expect her price point to be much lower. I'm confused by her marketing team I suppose.... they have the Sunglasses to kind of go by and how successful have they been? It's the same problem- the target market. I like her sunglasses but for the price I could buy designer (or almost with a bit more savings). I just don't want her to be unsuccessful at anything and I feel like it won't be the greatest endeavour. On the other....why not? I would do the same if I had the money.. She's building an imperium and that's good. Especially for the future.. one day she will stop singing or once she has passed away, she wants to make sure her kids and her family will have enough to go on for.. We also need to remember Céline doesn't write her own songs, so musically....she misses out on a lot and doesn't have a steady incoming cash flow. Besides, it's still promo in the end, people see her name, which could also help musicwise...
