If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why? Is there a celebrity who you or someone you love have always dreamed of meeting? Do you consider yourself his or her biggest fan? Do you wish you could just spend one day with your favorite star or celebrity? Why are you or someone you love deserving of an opportunity to meet your favorite celebrity?

 

The Oprah Show wants to know who you are dying to meet! Please tell us all about why you or a loved one is deserving of a chance to meet your favorite star and what you would do if you had one day to spend with them. Please also include a photo of yourself or the person you are nominating. Please only respond if you are willing to be on National Television.

Well i think it's going to be hard to have Celine participating in on of these things now that she is pregnant, but you'll never know...

 

It probably wouldn't happen until next year anyway :flowers:

Just thinking about writing into Oprah makes my stomach turn in knots!

 

I think I have a better chance of running into Céline at Wal-mart than thru Oprah! Somene else might be lucky, but I am sooooooo not! Not with Oprah! :lol:

 

But man, how I wish I could spend a day with Céline- a whole day!? We could do some damage at some retail stores lemme tell ya. Now this is all I'm going to think about all day! :(

it would be nice to see her again in person and sit with her again, but the chances of them choosing a Canadian are probably just as hard meeting her on the street

OMG, :o I wouldn't be able to eat a bite ... think of it ... you are sitting across the table from Ms. Dion and having dinner. The thought of it makes my stomach churn.

You do have to be 21 years of age:

"7. By providing the Submissions, you represent and warrant that you are at least twenty-one (21) years old."

 

Thsi references submissions worldwide:

I agree...I've been writing to Oprah about Celine for years and I never get a response...I think I've given up altogether, lol!

Write in anyways! Just put a note at the end saying something like "I'm not 21 but I love Celine and my parents/guardians can give me permission" idk something of that nature!

I think now I'd be too nervous to be on camera on national tv unless I was just in the audience and not up sitting on one of the chairs with Oprah AND Celine! :blush: :in_love: Any time I've ever been on camera for anything I've looked really bad. I did try before though to get on Oprah when it was specifically a Celine contest. It was before 2005 I know that much. I wrote a nice detailed letter and sent pics of my collection of Celine items, because they asked for pics.

Thanks for sure Brittany. :) I'm not brave enough now.

I was way too emotional when I got my hug in 2008. I don't know if I would be crying too much to talk. :blush:

* December 18, 2008. 1st time ever in front row for a concert and it was with my idol Celine!

Dream #1 accomplished.

 

While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily!

She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.

Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus!

 

She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself,

and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter!

She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)

She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!

She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me.

I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!

Since I was very young one of my biggest idols was ''Hulk Hogan'', I watched his ever match, bought all his merchandise, and just thought he was sooo amazing, and having watched ''Hogan knows best'' I got to see his other side, and it has not changed what I thought of him at all, hes such a cool, layed back, funny although very strict dad, which I was surprised to learn.

 

I always dreamed of watching him wrestle live, and see him walk to the ring to his theme song, tearing his t-shirt and doing the actions to the audience that he used to do, and I always wanted one of his yellow t-shirts...

 

But yeah I would love to spend the day with Hulk Hogan :)

Hey Darren I met him a few years back with a few friends and we got a headlock hug and were called lovely ladies. :giggle: It was actually a signing for his daughter's first cs, but it was all about him once you got passed her lol! :laugh:

I have some pics too if you would like to see. Jimmy Hart was there too. Have met several wrestlers here at the Mall Of America. :)

 

I forgot to add, Celine was here in 1996 I have heard. :o I didn't know who she was until 1997! :cry: :down:
