Which is the least performance in Boston? For me, Im not satisfied for her performance in "alone"!!!! But still a good performance!!! Edited by joruss10

I would be surprised if Shadow Of Love doesn't get every vote...but more and more I'm beginning to like it! She made it fun...kind of what she has done with LCMM in so many performances.

 

I'm going to go with PQTME....when comparing that to Montreal, Vegas, Paris (1995 and 1999).....this one in Boston is crap.

I also voted for Pour que tu m'aimes encore, it just sound uninspirational and dull! :down:

 

 

and I still think they used the worse performances of Alone, It's a man's world and Je Sais Pas! In Europe they were on fire! But there are hardly any adlips in it! JSP was sooo cool cos of those added adlips, and it's a shame Céline didn't (wasn't allowed to sing it) that way on the nights they recorded it! :(

 

oh yeah in Europe she sang; you gotta feel it here and there and there... you gotta feel it EVERYWHEEEEERE!!! And on the cd/dvd it's just; you gotta feel it strong... that strong. or something like that... and it isn't as powerful! :down:

I think all the performances were remarkably good, better than any other performer could ever do, but I thought the beginning of "All By Myself" was not up to her standard. As the song progessed it was amazing!!! Especially the high notes, better than ever (in my opinion), but the beginning of it was very nasal.

Mine was probably Fade Away. I thought the earlier performances of this song sounded better.

to me it's all coming back to me now, she really didn't perform it good then shadow of love

but with no offense although I like the whole concert, Celine sound nasal in most of performances.

to me I am live, taking chances and my love were the best

shadow of love closely followed by all ny myself.

 

the former was too nasal, the latter bad enunciation and weak.

the version of My Love sounds better in Stockholm ,Sweden. In the dvd, it sounds so very poor (specially the part when she stand out to the piano and kneel to the floor.....)

i don't know guys... :confused: but i found all the performance great!!! really!

 

and i really believe that she sounded nasal in ABM..but i found her voice in the climax so powerful!!! she hit it superb...and she deserve a credit for it... the note was clear and strong.

 

likewise i also found TPOL so great! i just dont know if it is a million % live...any idea??? please :-D

I agree with all what you said!

Absolutely no ad-libs at all! All the performances sounded like the album versions of the songs! :doh:

I voted To love you more! The last chorus sounds horrible! :fear: :fear: :fear:

But I don't agree with people who voted IACBTM! The "real playback version" is nasal but the"rerecorded version of the DVD" sounds great!

As for the rest of the concert; they already planned to record in montreal and boston so that could not be changed.

I think in europe and some american cities she was way better than the recordings on the dvd! but of course you cannot blame them for that of course!

 

To me I have a big issue with filtering away the audience sounds which takes away a live -feeling! and another thing; The rerecording of All by myself was badly edited - i can hear the endnote that does not sound like the rest of the song, bad montage to me! ok people may curse me now or say we have had that discussion before, but I edit music a lot and I can hear it was a montage..sorry! and indeed she sounds a little bit nasal in the song, but not that nasal as in the first a new day cd!

I Chose the soul medley/it's a man's world, The soul medley was good but i hated it's a man's world i think i just hate the song altogether so it may not be the performance i just don't enjoy the song at all

For me it's "Eyes On Me."
