This quite unusual final has something for the aviation geek also... As a result a lot of extra capacity is being chartered. A small overview:

1x McDonnel Douglas MD-11

15 to 20 private jets

 

 

Which is an amazing list as it is solely for the finals...

I listened to the Holland - Uruguay match on the radio and I almost died the last minutes :cry: dang it, I've never been that scared in my life.

This is a very dirty game. I think FIFA should be embaressed that there is so much blatant thuggery being shown in the biggest game of the last 4 years. Holland in particular should not have 11 men on the pitch at this point.

 

Hopefully they will start playing with a bit more sportsmanship in the second half.

 

Still rooting for Holland, but only just.
