only problem is... they busted the whole budget céline gets for video clips for an album for TC alone I guess... that's why the other singles (hahahaha singles! :laugh: :sofunny: :doh: :glare: ) didn't get a video clip! :P :rolleyes:

No. I think it's because TC single flopped hard. That's why they don't bother to promo the other singles. If TC goes to top 10, we will see much more promo for the other singles.

 

 

well if that's the attitude of Sony, why bother to release an album at all?? Most of Céline's first singles of big albums were a flop:

 

Falling Into You

The Reason

Zora Sourit

 

I can go on and on, but if they released a good song, with a good video, TC the album, could have been a lot bigger!!! -_-

I mentioned this video a few years back....

 

She did sing the three songs in full on this shoot, and it was then edited down for the adverts/promo.

The full video exists, and I've asked Sony if we can have it if they can manage to track it down!

I know, but I mean it's interesting how she did the full songs and not just a few lines. Surely they knew they could never release the full videos when they are identical to TC? :confused:

Tim, these songs were lipped soley to use it for promotion purposes! (like that TC commercial ads on the UK) not to make a video clip out of it! :thumbsup2:

I guess those Alone & Eyes on me music videos were suppoused to be released to continue the story told in the Taking chances music video, right after Celine says "What's next?"

I knew she did them in full as why to bother her to do only 15 seconds of each? and how would they know which part of the song would be the best.... That's why they did them in full and choose parts for adverts... I wonder if it was only Celine standing there or something happening there as well

But I guess the make her sing a few notes of a few songs for the promo, I don't think thereis a full lenght video of those songs....

 

I agree, there's no way she'd make a full music video in the same clothes and set!

Because she was short of time and she wouldn't do any promotion after the first single?? :giggle: That's why she shot all videos at once, to do nothing next -_-

Pfff that sucks! Look at other "singers" like Lady gaga or Madonna, their demos, rare songs, rare videos are leaking every minutes... Celine's stuff never leaks! We don't have any demos (except D'eux) or rare stuff...

And Sony doesn't want to please her fans!

Yeah, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are even recording videos to almost all their songs in her albums, like a story-mode for the pleasure of their fans. I guess we'll never get that from Céline at this stage :ermm: :confused:

We are fans, we love her, we buy her albums etc... And they can't do anything for us just once :angry2:

What??? :blink: :blink: I remember some rumours about that back in 2007 but did she really got to shoot that video? And I doubt she went to Spain to shot it!! :blink: :whistling:

Yes I think it's true! But I think they changed their mind before shooting the video... :ermm: so I don't think there is any video...

Now I remember again. I had completely forgotten about that. Though I'm completely against bullfights, on the one hand I think that there was an exaggerated concern about that plan, because if Céline or René ever wanted to make that video with a spanish torero, that did not necessarily mean that there has to be a bull in the video (much less the torero killing it! :rolleyes: ) :thumbsup2:

 

And on the other hand, judging by this letter below, I think that their intentions were to shoot this video with -maybe- only the bullfighter to include it in the Eyes On Me performances of the TCWT. That's why they used idea of the red capes in the current performances! They just couldn't add the video of a bullfighter during the tour, and I think they were right with that because it can be disturbing :)

 

Other thing is that they wanted also to do a videoclip for the song separately, but that, I think we can't be sure.

 

I've found this letter of someone writing about this:

 

"Dear sir/madam,

 

Recently, I heard that Celine Dion has asked the matador (bullfighter) Tejela

to promote her new album and concerts by appearing in the album and on a large

screen during her concerts. Furthermore, she is financing a replica of the

Mexico City bullring in Las Vegas. I wonder why she would promote the

bullfighting industry, because bullfighting is one of the most cruel forms of

animal abuse. Tens of thousands of bulls and hundreds of horses are tortured

and killed, just to amuse the public. A matador is not a hero. He uses other

bullfighters to weaken the bull, before he stabs it to death. The bull is

tortured with lances, barbed spears, swords and daggers, until it collapses

after a long death struggle.

 

More and more people turn their backs on bullfighting, because of this

cruelty.

Please, pass my message on to Celine and her agent, because I think it is very

important that she does not finance the replica of the Mexican bullring and

that she should turn away the bullfighter Tejela. This man has killed hundreds

of sentiënt beïngs like all of these innocent bulls are and he has blood on

his hands.

 

This is not good for Celine's reputation. If you are not convinced, please
